I had been using aluminum foil for the past 3 years to try to keep the mess from forming on my gas stove top... it was always a mess and mess to clean up. I bought this protector thinking it wouldnt work.. but IT DOES. Its such time saver and just wipe with damp cloth as needed. Fits perfectly as well. Would buy again.

The edges are all sharp, fraying fiberglass, I expected the edges to be finished. The surface will not be easy to clean. It will not lay flat even given a few days to settle. I am concerned about the unprotected fiberglass edges scratching the stainless steel top and also causing splinters. Silicone may be a better choice.

I had bought other similar protectors. I had to cut them to make them fit and the result was ugly.This one is much more expensive but most impressive is the quality. Much thicker and the fit on my LG - perfect.I would buy again.

It is not the same quality as my previous stove protector which I purchased about a year ago same brand for LG stoveIt curled at the edges when the cooking heat got to it. And does not clean as easy as the previous one
