This thing is awesome. The fans align with my bottom air intake and it cools very well. The laptop is significantly cooler to the touch when the fans are on. It has really made a difference when gaming. I keep the fans on the lowest setting because it is barely audible and it still cools well.

I bought it because my laptop surface started to get quite warm. Now, I don't know how I got along without it for years...instant cooling improvement and a much improved angle for typing on my chairside tray. Even on the high setting, the fans are barely audible.

Bought this because it was cheap, looked like it could do the job, and had a USB-C port. My laptop has 2 USB ports taken up by a mouse and keyboard, and 2 USB-C ports not in use. The fan came with a USB to USB cable and I discarded that and tried to use a USB-C to USB-C cable to no avail, it's incapable of recognising any output from my USB-C port, which is the whole reason I bought it. Had to end up using a 4-ft charger I had, but hey its lightweight and sturdy I like that the clip on the front to hold the laptop is tall enough and it's fixed unlike some other cooling pads where it can pop off. It works good for laptop cooling when I'm doing renderings, the lights are cute (although they're not strobing lights), and it's quiet so no complaints here.

It does keep my laptop cool when gaming and the lighting is really nice. It is really noisy and rattling...sounds like marbles in a cheese grater loud.

This thing is actually really nice. The fans are in the correct position for the large majority of laptop air intakes unlike so many other coolers. This probably dropped by temps by about 10c. I actually already had a cooler but it only had a single large fan in the middle of it which didn't work very well. The only problem with this is that it doesn't remember which speed setting you used previously so you have to press the button every time you turn on your laptop if you don't want to use the default medium speed.

I wanted a new laptop cooling pad which needed to have a few specific characteristics, which thisones description fitted perfectly.First and foremost being powered by a DEVICE SIDE USB port, not that stupid, nonstandard, hard to find USB-A to USB-A cable. This was one of the very few pads that has a USB-C port which was perfect, had it worked. It didn't work with any of my 100W USB-C to USB-C cables nor USB A to C cables in any combination with my laptop nor USB chargers. It does work with the included USB A to A cable, which I detest.Secondly I wanted the structure be made out of some hard metal so it didn't bend and hit the fan blades when grabbing the pad+laptop with one hand. This says to be made of alluminum which would have been great, had it ben ENTIRELY made out of aluminum, not just the top plate. Everything else is made of flimsy plastic.Lastly it says "easy to carry". However the "non-slip holder" which prevents the laptop from sliding down is a fixed piece of plastic. It can't be flipped like my current pad. How can this be labeled "easy to carry". That holder is either quickly break, or break something else inside my carrry bag. Strike Three.I'm returning this misleading and defective item.
