Excellent fit of all parts. ExactlY as needed. Good stuff."Trailer 8" means 8 wheel lugs:"6.5" BC" is the distance between the center of a lug hole of the wheel rim to the center of the exact opposite lug hole, i.e., Bolt Circle (BC).Note 1: These 12 x 2" Brake assemblies are NOT self-adjusting. I wish theY had included that spec, and I overlooked it. I gave 'em a four-star instead of five for this reason onlY. I'd like self-adjusting.Note 2: The standard tin grease cap (dust cap) is without a fitting, nor can grease fittings be installed. I recommend Bearing BuddY (stainless w/ fitting). Well worth the upgrade. Measure the ID of the outer bearing spindle hole (the nose of the drum) where the grease cap goes. These are 2.717". Order Bearing BuddY accordinglY. Cost at the time of this writing is $35. per pair.Rule of thumb: What You do on one side of an axel, You do on the other. Thus, a pair to repair is alwaYs needed.

We purchased six sets of these, installed them on our trailers, and believed all was well. This was until one of our wheels came off of our trailer and passed our truck on Hwy 20 near Atlanta at 70 mph! Nobody was injured. We found that most of the lug nuts were loose on this trailer. Looking further, we found that most of the lug nuts were loose on our other trailers also. Our investigation revealed that the studs had not been seated properly in these hubs, by the manufacturer - meaning that you tighten the lug nuts to the proper torque, drive, and the forces of driving pull the studs deeper into the hub, causing the lug nuts to be loose again, (then this process repeats until the studs are pulled all of the way into the hub, and probably seated). If I am not explaining this in a way that is understandable, ask your mechanic. I am not wrong about this.If you have purchased these hubs, recheck your lug nuts. If they are loose, remove the hubs, seat the studs, then reinstall. Do NOT just re-tighten the lug nuts because they will just loosen again until the studs are seated. You can see from the attached picture that the heads of two of the studs are very shallow in the hub, and not properly seated.I have contacted Amazon and they are working on this.I have contacted the seller and they are in denial- focused on our wheels and our ability to tighten lug nuts.We drive almost 2 million miles a year. We have asked for no refund or for compensation of any kind. We just want to stop people from being injured or killed.
