I was pleasantly surprised that the flashlight is made of aluminum. The light is very bright and worked well. Be mindful, the light takes 6 AA batteries.

This stuff is amazing! What a great development in auto mechanical repair. I used to spend hours guessing where leaks were, and second-guessing gasket repairs and seals. Now, you just put some of this in the oil and run the vehicle a bit, then turn on the UV light and look for glow-in-the-dark streaks. It’s super obvious! Like a line pointing to the leak. And, when there is no leak, so satisfying to see non-ambiguous confirmation. Now part of my “go-to†kit.It’s also like a bootleg CSI kit…so, you know, you can use it to see how clean your hotel room actually is (now you know).

I used a small bottle of oil dye from autozone (around 7$) and this worked great. I would recommend using the light to inspect BEFORE adding the oil incase there is any other UV dye already in place. I also used this to track an AC Freon leak to find the seal in the compressor was bad, which saved me the hassle of replacing all my O rings. It’s a very handy and useful tool. Keep in mind it requires 6 batteries and they aren’t included and are needed for use

This light is to detect a/c leaks on cars. Light head could be narrower to get in tight space other wise it works to detect a'c leaks.

This little blacklight flashlight is great. It generates a lot of light. The only thing to be aware of is that it takes 6 AA batteries. Great purchase.

The parts are good but assembly is terrible.Negative wasn t grounded to the body.Wasn t properly wired.LED don t all work.Had it been properly assembled would ve been 10/10
