Paper tape is different than masking tape and I love it for making art. I bought one roll (PRO) for $18 and then saw this offer and bought it too. It's a little thinner than the more expensive tape but, for my purposes, worked just as well. Since I teach workshops, I needed a lot of rolls for my students a small price. This did the trick!

Perfect light duty tape to fit my general masking needs. Will mainly be using to make quick write-on labels, seal deli-papered sandwiches, and in arts & crafts.PROS: easy to tear, perfect goldilock stickiness, nice off-white/cream color, thin parchment-like texture.CON: was a little challenging to fit onto my Excell tape dispenser. The core was like a 1/2 mm too small so I really had to work to push the tape on without breaking the roller. After several minutes and a few sore fingers, got it on so all good.Would be nice to have this exact tape offered in the one inch width and in different light colors as other craft masking tapes are heavily opaque and thicker.Happy.

If you’re using it in sunlight, get the darkest color. I keep mine on for weeks, so if the sun is going to hit it, the white will get destroyed. I found the dark blue can last for months, but the white about a week or less with UV from the sun. Anyway, I don’t think it was intended to be used outdoors in the sun, but nonetheless color makes a difference darker is better.

Good value for the price, but this tape is odd. It tears easily where you want it to. The thickness of the tape is fine. The adhesive is odd though. Within the first few minutes of applying, the adhesive barely sticks to cardboard boxes. It comes right back off without pulling any of the box up with it in the first few minutes, but once it's set for a couple hours... it is firmly bonded to the cardboard and brings chunks of cardboard up with it. Whatever adhesive they're using is slow setting, but strong after a few hours. Just make sure you tape up the box the day before shipping and thank me later
