i'm not a stranger to xylophones. i've been playing with it since i was a little boy. All i've had all these years were the 8 key ones so i'm limited to what songs can be played. i also play the keyboard and my guitars so i never really bothered to upgrade this instrument until my son took interest in playing it. After reading all the reviews i decided on the cheapest with the best reviews and this was it. Let me tell you this xylophone is great. with the extra keys you can now play more songs and for the price and quality you can't go wrong. I hope that whoever is interested in buying one of these i hope you get the same quality as mine. You will not be disappointed.

The packaging shows correct placement of the tones/colors, but the actual xylophone does not have the right color sequence. In the proper note by color sequence the note C should be red, followed by orange D, and yellow E etc. If your child has learned this proper sequence and you're trying to encourage the note to color reference to learn other musical topics, such as color coordinated sheet music, this xylophone will completely confuse your child. The sound is great, but the color placements is off and it is such a shame. I wish the product actually matched it's packaging.

Green peg holding the 1st key broke within a couple of days of Christmas, hoping manufactuere will replace it, sound is good and my grandson likes to play it.

We have had this for literally 2 weeks and my kids didn't really touch it much. My youngest was just doing scales on it, not even hard, and a pin broke

It is solidly built and the sound is great! I do not have perfect pitch, but it seems to be in tune with itself. Better than expected for the price.Would recommend it to a friend.

My son asked for this for Christmas. He plays simple tunes and the sound is quite good. Robust enough for a 5 year old. Seems to be well made.

My 2yo is loving it. Need supervision due to chocking hazard (balls glued on end of sticks)Sounds great, didn't check with a tuner but it is in tune with itself at least. Notes have a long ring to them. Very impressed for the price
