Easy to use and not too messy if you're careful. If this is the first time you're using these sorts of things, catch a YouTube video. They're easy to use the SECOND time, but the instructions aren't very useful the FIRST time!!!!

I've ordered 3 bottles of LifeSpan treadmill lubricant since purchasing my LifeSpan treadmill a few years ago. The first two bottles were the earlier model of container with a spray top. It was very difficult to get the bottle under the treadmill belt and spray it consistently, move the belt, and repeat. Spritzing enough times to use 1 oz of lubricant also meant a LOT of pumps.This newer version uses a long tube as the applicator. This is MUCH easier to position under the belt and get the lubricant into the correct position. However, the new model of bottle no longer has the markers indicating the amount of liquid in the bottle.On the previous version, there were dashes indicating when you had used up an ounce of the lubricant. With this model, you just squeeze out the lubricant until you think you've used enough. It may seem like a small complaint, but it really does make for some frustrating guesswork, especially since the new bottle is a different shape than the old one; you can't even use the old bottle as a reference point.All things considered, the lubricant does its job, and that is what's important. One bottle should last a year for most users, and so the price is reasonable; of course, your usage may vary depending on how good you are at guessing what constitutes an ounce of liquid.

The lube is good but the straw doesn’t straighten out and it leaks lube when not in use as a result. Would buy again though out of necessity.

The original way to lubricate the wheel was with a spray bottle that required lifting the running surface at 6" intervals, the length of the surface and then spraying in and hoping it went to the middle of the ramp. Well we all know that holding a spray bottle on its side, it quickly stops spraying and you have to lift it out pump then start all over again. Then repeat on the other side of the machine and for me the machine sits parallel to a wall so getting in there is a chore.Well now , with this bottle it is, it is so much easier. Lift ramp, insert bottle under mat and while pulling out gently squeeze about a tablespoon as your pulling bottle out. Go to the other side and repeat. That's it, both sides one pull. How easy is that! Then get on treadmill for 5 minutes and walk to distribute it. I did drop a few drops on the mat, but it was the first time and no one mentioned to be cautious when going to the other side so oops. So know you know to be careful, wrap the tip or entire bottle in a cloth when you go to the other side and if it drips it will go into the cloth and not on the surface of the treadmill. I eventually fades but I still see the staining of the splatter. But it won't cause problems with using the machine, just looks.

I have a Lifespan treadmill and it the user manual it sais to use this lubricate depending on usage but on average every 6-12 months. If you are running on it every day then every 3 to 6 months. I needed a replacement belt and the service technician who came out from Gym Dr's uses the same lubricate and showed me how to use it. It is not expensive and so worth it to keep your treadmill in running order !

Bought twice. Once through Amazon and once through lifespan. Applicator tubing cap broke twice. Cannot straighten tubing to get underneath mid part of belt. First time tried the cap broke. Second time just settled for not straightening tubing and just using it bent 180 degrees. Still ended up breaking wasting the entirety of item. Luckily was placed in ziploc bag before everything spilled so mess was contained somewhat.

Upon receiving it the extender cap was shattered so I was not able to use the extender tip and I wasn't going to do a return just because of that reason

I use this to keep my treadmill in good working order - easy to fill using the tubing.I also use it in some of my artwork and it is an effective additive.

First thing of note, is that the applicator tube is too rigid and short, and impossible to push to the center of the treadmill belt, making it difficult to use.The lubricant itself is generic, and probably be fine, but more time is needed to evaluate it.Would not recommend this product, the company was stingy with the tube applicator. Considering the the inexpensive production cost, they have been very greedy.
