Pros:- Great color options- No added taste to the water; just a clean water sensation- Effective filtration of contaminants- Fits many cup holders- Feels DurableCons:- Doesn’t fit all cup holders- On the heavier sideInsights:I recently bought the 18oz bottle in the Aegean Sea color, and it has exceeded my expectations in several ways. I was looking for a stainless steel bottle, as I am trying to get away from plastics. The double wall design does a great job of keeping water cool. The color is vibrant and appealing, and the bottle effectively filters out contaminants, providing a clean water sensation with no added taste. The filtration system is impressive and gives me a level of confidence I don't get from other water bottles. The bottle is designed to fit many cup holders, but be aware that it doesn’t fit all, which can be inconvenient at times. It is also heavier than other water bottles, but this is expected due to its high-quality stainless steel construction and advanced filtration system. The added weight does not feel excessive and is a small trade-off for the benefits it offers. There is sometimes an issue with water kinda of bubbling up and out of the mouthpiece (presumably due to pressure differences), but they had a great tip in the instruction pamphlet that came with the bottle. It described the process of blowing air back into the mouthpiece when you are done drinking. That technique seems to work well for me, as I haven't had an issue since trying it.Overall, the LifeStraw Go Series is a durable, effective, and stylish water filter bottle that delivers clean, great-tasting water, making it a worthwhile investment for those who prioritize water quality and sustainability.

I travel for work and was relying on plastic water bottles or drink fill stations. Now I can put tap water in my bottle and know the tap is filtered well and taste ok.

I do really like this bottle. The mouth piece is not hard so you do not have to worry about hitting your teeth on it. Once you fill it up the second time it becomes almost effortless to drink out of. The filter fits very securely onto the lid and does not just sit in the bottle like previous review said. I got the smaller version because I wanted to be able to put it in cup holders…unfortunately because of the filter the bottle only holds about 24oz.

I purchased this bottle because I wanted a metal bottle not made in China. I was not too interested in the actual filter, but it's a nice bonus if I were in a pinch.I put filtered water in this bottle and use it to keep it cool, which it does well. I haven't done any measurements, but it works as well, if not better than insulated water bottles.I did try tap water in it and the carbon filter does nothing for the horrible taste. I didn't expect much as the carbon filter is tiny.It requires suction to drink water as you are the one creating the pressure to pass the water through the membrane. I imagine you can remove the membrane and use it as a normal bottle, but I leave the membrane in.

I was surprised to find out that the filter in this water bottle doesn't filter out the taste of chlorine. It makes me a little concerned when I thought it was supposed to filter out all contaminants.

I travel to Africa twice a year and despite precautions, I still get diarrhea. On my most recent trip I brought this LifeStraw Go Series and had an event free trip. Well made and it works.

I'm hoping the chemical taste will fade soon. Other than that it works good.

This bottle is still packaged and hasn't been used. But I bought it for Costa Rica this spring as it will purify my drinking water and is stainless steel (important as plastic isn't allowed in their national parks). Looks to be good quality and cannot wait to use it.

no idea where the carbon filters go there is no place to screw then on the lifestraw go bottle plus how does the filter work ? water does not pass through the filter the filter just sits in the water that is like telling me put this filter in a lake and the water is safe to drink ? sorry but no , water must pass through filter for it to be filtered plus you have to suck the water out the little spout , no thanks i want to pour the water into my mouth terrible design , not well thought out
