LifeStraw Peak Series Solo Water Filter is an ultra-lightweight (only 1.7oz), compact (just 5.1”), portable water filtration device that removes bacteria, parasites, microplastics, silt, sand, and cloudiness from drinking water. The standard 28mm threading on the filter allows it to be screwed onto most common water bottles. The one-handed flip cap makes on-the-go filtration super easy and fast: fill up a 1L bottle in just 20 seconds. Great for hiking, backpacking, camping, emergency situations, travel or on-the-go needs. At less than 2 ounces, and 2,000L of clean drinking water, no backpack, pocket, emergency bag, or glove compartment should be without one.

Smaller than regular life straw. Compact enough for travel. Will fit on a standard bottle of water and easy to use. Value is great as I got it on sale.

Hate to be that guy, but I loved sawyer over lifestraw for years until I got this bad boy. Excellent fit in my helikon-tex sere kit, and with a couple sawyer connections (gasp) you have an upgraded sawyer squeeze with a higher grade filter and slimmer profile with a higher flow rate. This thing kicks ass and has a super small imprint. F* the price tag and buy it. This this is awesome.

I ordered two of these. I already have many different types of filters or water cleaning systems, such as a solar rechargeable one that can be used for about a thousand gallons before cleaning to the life straw and even a solar oven that could purify small amounts by boiling. And yes there always the tabs that give your water that awful taste. This is another great addition to my stash, I call it stash because I have these everywhere I can think of. If you get locked down at home, Everything is there for an emergency and long stay. If your in your vehicle you need to have things and if you have to leave your vehicle you need to be able to do that and still survive, I have a back pack with enough to stay alive for a few days, and if you have to ditch your pack I have those tabs and a survival card, this peak will be in my pack until needed, giving one more way to make it in an emergency, because even if you know what to expect you never really know what your going to face when the s hit the fan. With one or more of these you can start to prepare for the unknown with some idea of how you can survive until you self rescue your party. Mojo.

We used it for one week in Yosemite backpacking trip - worked flawlessly in combination with Smart water bottle. You will need a bit of strength to squeeze the bottle, but it works as it supposed to.We had two of them - one as backup, but didn’t have to use the second. It’s small and lightweight, perfect for backpacking when every gram counts…The right price including all discounts should be below $17 (so far the best price I have seen was $13.55 - the base price was $16.93 with 20% off coupon on Feb 16 2025)

Have not used it yet. But like the concept that it will screw onto a water bottle. The price was right and I would like to try it.

I bought this for a trip to Cuba where I was not sure about getting clean bottled water. I boiled tap water then used this filter before drinking. It cleared out a ton of visible sediment from the water. My wife and I drank this water exclusively during our trip and did not have any ill effects. I'll definitely bring it with me whenever traveling to somewhere with uncertain water sources!

I absolutely loved using this filter on my ABC trek in Nepal. It kept my mates and I healthy and safe drinking from a wide variety of.. questionable water sources.I will absolutely buy more of these In future. The only problem is we only had one so it took a while to filter water for 4 people

Super efficace !
