Suitable for regularly shaped cargo with symmetrical fixed points, where the lengths of the two chain legs in the chain sling are equal in this working condition.

Impressions:-This is a good value for a good quality, high weight capacity of 3.18 tons (7,010 pounds) double hook and chain set that can be used in several configurations.-However, how you use it in which configuration and angles will effect the weight capacity.-A single hook is capable of 3,500 pounds, you will need to use both hooks to use the full 7,010 pound capacity.-A basket style configuration with both hooks will be a 6,100 pound capacity, not the full 7,010 pound capacity.)Pros:-Good value for the style, versatility, and that the chain is included.-Good quality in the materials, finish and construction. It’s very sturdy and heavy duty.-2 hooks included.-1 top loop included.-Chain is included.-10 feet of chain in length.-5/16 inch.-Grade 80 chain.-Standard link sizes.-3.18 ton weight capacity (7,010 pounds rounded down to 7,000 pounds)-However, the weight capacity varies by the use configuration. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality of this sling. The hooks & control link appear to be thick forged steel, and the chain is stamped with an 80 grade rating. I like the fact that the chain has some type of plating, possibly cadmium, which makes it much cleaner to use than plain steel.The down side is that the identification tag was only attached with a tiny plastic cable tie, which was broken and lying loose when I opened the box; it should be permanently attached. There is no serial number or industry certification such as ASTM or ASME listed on the tag and the tag must include a serial number to be OSHA compliant. Because of this, I wouldn't use it for any industrial/ workplace application.Not an issue for me, as I only need it for home and ranch use. Maybe that's why it's named "WowDIY"?

Ordered this sling for lifting various items in the shed. I have it connected to a manual chain hoist with a 2000lb lift capacity. The quality of chain, self-locking hooks and ring are pretty good. I like that each chain link is marked G80 rating. I have another one of these slings for the garage that is the zinc coated version and your hands turn black. Make sure you get this version that is zinc coated! Highly recommend.I also like the lengths of chain can be adjusted with the lifting choker. It provides the ability to lift objects that are either heavy on one side or bulky. The flexibility is huge over traditional slings.

I'm using this chain to lift uneven loads in my shop. I've got an overhead electric hoist and use it to unload things out of my truck, or to lift things onto my fixture table. The chain has worked well so far but my setup is only good for about 1000 lbs, so I should have plenty of safety factor.Two reasons for only 4 stars:1) The safety tag is stainless steel so that's nice, but it was attached to the chain with a plastic zip tie that was already broken upon unboxing. I attached it with some stainless safety wire so it won't fall off again. Also, the edges of the tag were 90* and sharp as heck. I used some snips to 45 them, then a file to smooth it over so much less chance of cuts now.2) The captured pins that secure both hooks to the chain don't inspire a lot of confidence. There is very little shoulder for the pin to rest on where it meets the roll pin. Well, it actually is well short of the roll pin, so there's plenty of room for a longer shaft. I didn't measure, but it seems there's only about 1/8" of bearing surface on the pin. I'd want to see more to trust the 7,000 lb rated hooks.

Well made, Heavy Duty. Quick Adjustable balancing and no double chain shifting or slipping on crane lifts make this chain and hook great for moving engines or trannie separate or together with peace of mind knowing its capable of alot more weight.Quickly Adusting the chain hang length from boom to object being lifted is a good feature also for tight areas or landing spaces.

Nice chain sling, it makes balancing uneven loads much easier. Great for lifting all sorts of oddly shaped items. It has an extra slot in the middle for another chain so you can have three hooks if needed.

This is a great setup for anyone lifting challenging loads. The chain is rated grade 80 which meets ASTM and OSHA standards for lifting applications. The Master link allows for flexibility in rigging difficult unbalanced loads. The paint is very thick on the master link and hooks making corrosion resistant for a very long time. This is a great addition to any rigging kit.

This hoisting chain is a 5/16" diameter chain that is 10' long and has two hooks and an adjustable master control plate. It is rated for 7000lbs and you can control the load by adjusting the chain lengths. The master plate as well as the hooks, are a cast iron that is painted red. This product seems to be very well made and will suit my needs perfectly.
