The Digital Illuminance Light Meter comes with a nice carrying case, two AAA batteries, and a light meter with a rotatable sensor head.I found the light meter to be super easy to use even before reading the instruction manual. It has been very useful for me to figure out if there's enough light in the room for kids's reading activities. It's been great to confirm my suspicion there's not enough light.I don't see any cons as long as you know you are buying a battery-powered device that is not rechargeable. Everything else is easy and intuitive to use. The rotatable sensor really helped if you want to read in different directions while being able to read the screen at the same time. You can also freeze the reading in time as needed.

Records accurate light intensity. Bought it to check if my indoor plants were getting enough natural light. With it I was able to readjust and optimize to offer my plants the best location inside. Worked like a charm.
