I have a specific reasons for not being able to be in the sun so I purchased this jacket 100% for sun protection. I have NOT worn it in extended sunlight to comment on how well it blocks full sun for extended periods of time. But It has been very helpful blocking UV while I am out for small amounts of time. I do have a UV Card, tested it and it did NOT show that UV rays were coming through. As you can see in the picture the sleeve indicates that it is UPF 50. I have been wearing it since summer and I am happy with this brand and will be purchasing another color. It is more of a snug athletic fit. I purchased a Large and typically wear Large and it fits me true to size- Not too snug but not very loose fitting.

THEY DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. THEY ARE LIGHT WEIGHT I BEEN WEARING THEM ALL SUMMER. BOUGHT IN BLACK AND WHITE. I USUALLY WEAR A LARGE SIZED UP AND GOT AN XLARGE AND GOOD THING I DID BECAUSE IT IS STRETCHY BUT RUNS SMALL.

My job is mostly outdoors for a majority of every day. During the spring/summer/fall months the temperature is still warm enough without needing a coat. This has been a life saver when it comes to sun exposure. It’s light weight so when it’s hot out I’m not too warm while using it. My favorite part is the pony tail slot in the hood. It allows me to pull the hood on whenever I need it and I can use it with a hat for more protection for my face. This is an excellent product - so much so I bought four. They are easy to wash and I typically hang or lay flat to dry. Great investment for anyone who cannot avoid the sun on a regular basis.

I'm 5'2," 115 lbs and the x-small fits me well. The fabric is light, cool and thin. I actually have this same shirt-jacket from another brand in a different color (blue). It sells for a similar price. The only difference between the two is that this one has zippered pockets and the ponytail hole in the back. I like the zippers on this one. Since the fabric is thin I usually prefer to wear these sorts of jackets with just a sports bra on underneath or a thin, fitted shirt. Since the fabric is stretchy I usually don't use it to carry a lot of heavy stuff in it. I think I prefer my blue one, however. Turns out I'm not too fond of the pink color that I selected and I kind of wish they would have left the upf rating off the shirt, it's on the sleeve and I don't care much for it. The rating is already included in the tag attached to the shirt so I'm not sure why it's on the sleeve. Another thing that bothers me with shirts that have thumbholes is that sometimes it feels like the placement is off and this is one of those shirts. The thumbholes are twisting the fabric a little bit by the wrists. I've become really picky with thumbholes. Anyhow, they're good jackets, the things that bother me probably won't bother the average person, but I think I prefer my blue one from the other brand.

OK I never write reviews, but I got this because of a few reviews on it so here goes!This top is awesome! I am a very fair skinned redhead and I hate covering my whole body in sunblock so I gave this a try. IT WORKS!!! I wore this for a week in the Arizona and New Mexico desert and not one sunburn! not even a faint one! The pockets are great, it’s sleeves are long enough to cover most of your hands, and the hood is great to cover your neck & some of your face. So, for my fellow pale skinned/sensitive people out there, this does what it says it does: prevents sunburn and keeps you cool! Get one!

I ordered a size 1X , I am a size 14/16 and it fits perfectly. Form fitting, a little stretch and the material is nice and lightweight. Washes and drys well.

I’m 5’9†and the large is long enough that it didn’t show my midriff when I raise my arms. The sleeves are also long and go past my wrists.

I contacted the seller because of a minor issue and within 24 hours they responded with a solution! I really like the top as it's roomy and super comfy and with the quality of customer service, I would definitely order from them again. Nice product! I wanted something oversized, so I got the XXL. What I love most about the jacket itself, is that the UPF of 50 is right on the sleeve, so I'm assured it is as protective as it claims.

A good sunhoodie for the sunny summer days. It is long enough and with long enough sleeves for a 180 cm person in size M. On the downside it is quite heavy if one needs to carry it in a backpack during a hike.

The jacket color is exactly as pictured. It seems to be made from good quality fabric and is light and soft. It looks and feels well made. It isn’t a jacket for staying warm however - definitely more late spring or summer. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak to how well it will hold up but so far it exceeded expectations. Nice and long as well, hits me well below my waist.
