Bought this as a gift for my husband. Great lens for taking long distance photos. It does take some skill to focus quickly, but awesome if you have a few minutes.

I’ve always been fascinated by the moon, stars, planets, sunrises/sets, and landscape or wildlife photography. I had to get these accessory for my rebel t7! It’s so clutch! I got this picture the other day when it was parade of the planets(all the planets aligned) and some were visible with our bare eyes, so I had to put this attachment to my camera and I captured this awesome photo of Jupiter I believe. You can see the gases in between the ozone layer and the planet itself, highly recommend.

The light arbitration on this lens is horrible, and you're limited in changing the image settings because the lens forces you to only adhere to specific specs. I was so excited initially, but so dissatisfied & disappointed in this lens as soon as I started to use it. I'm going to attempt taking some longer exposure night photos, but at thus point, I do not have high hopes on its exposure capabilities.

...but not perfect. But for what you pay, this is a decent telephoto lens. Definitely use it with a tripod for stability of the shot, or some sort of flat surface rather than trying to hold it steady. It's manual so be sure to set your camera to a manual setting for the lens. Aside from those caveats, it's not terrible. Once you get used to how to focus, it makes for some nice photographs.
