I have tried a few different I’ve fkashlights including the Braun (from Harbor Freight) and the Hobby Lobby light before buying this light. This light is by FAR the most powerful. I’ve used it a few times to hunt down uranium glass and custard glass. It really makes them glow. I think it’s well made and it’s not too big so it fits comfortably in a pouch or pocket. I replaced the batteries with good quality alkaline batteries. I carry this light everywhere in case I go thrifting or to an antique mall. I keep the 2 other (less potent lights) at home. I’m not sure about other uses, but for my specific use it is fantastic and very highly recommended.

Works like a pro. And also long range like 40ft out. Very impressive for a little toot toot flashlight. Too brite for my uv rocks though

I ordered this to pre-test items I was ordering for a black light party and it did just the trick and was great! It came with batteries which once I put them in the right way worked and that was so nice. Super happy with this find.

I just got it last night so I’ve only used it once but it did a great job so far at detecting urine my new puppy (and my nephew) left behind! Now I just have to get busy doing a better job cleaning. If it lasts, I will give it a 5th star âï¸. No complaints yet though!

Decided to buy one of these when we had a professional carpet cleaner come to our house. He used a black light to see if there were any stains on the carpet. It was kind of alarming to see things light up, but it influenced me to buy a black light of my own. Works well to find animals stains. My son also likes using it for some of his toys that glow under UV light.

I have used this flashlight to test for genuine vs. costume pearls. Genuine pearls will fluoresce under black light. Have had some nice surprises. Down side: had to replace batteries almost immediately, and then light got weak after using about a half dozen more times.

Ik heb altijd een UV lamp willen hebben en ben klein begonnen. Reviews te hebben gelezen heb ik niet veel verwachtingen gehad van dit lampje. Moet overal zeggen dat ik er niet ontevreden over ben, maar het licht mag wel wat sterker. Ik moet echt dicht bij het object zijn om echt goed iets te willen waarnemen.Plas van dieren zul je niet snel zien als het is uitgesmeerd of op een vloerkleed, maar als het echt veel is op laminaat en je schijnt dichtbij is het wel zichtbaar. Voor de rest zijn me geen aparte dingen opgevallen. Ik weet dat je UV niet op huid en ogen mag doen. Toch heb ik het even op mn huid en tanden geprobeerd. Ik zag mijn vullingen, wat ik grappig vond. Daarna begon ik wel wat een branderig gevoel te krijgen, dus ik zou het niet doen.Zeepresten in de badkamer zijn ook goed zichtbaar. Voor dit bedrag is dit wel ongeveer wat ik verwacht van deze UV lamp
