Even brighter than I thought. My outlets are behind a nightstand so an automatic night light doesn’t work. This will be great if there is an outage as well. Love them!

Have a toddler who's basically a mini Edison, fascinated with the magic of light switches. Thought this gadget would save me from becoming a human crane. The light works wonders in closets and dark corners, but as a toddler toy? It's like staring into the sun. Note to self: There's no easy way out of the toddler gym routine. Guess I'm back to being my little one's personal elevator, complete with arm workouts and squat reps. Who needs a gym membership when you have a 2-year-old light enthusiast?

Two of my children require night lights at night for them to sleep. My 7 year old likes alot of light, which this provides wonderfully. My almost 3 year old son also loves the extra light. It is not overbearing like a regular light bulb and the LED allows the room to be well lit without blinding anyone or keeping them awake. I purchased this as a cheap option as a nightlight, rather than buying an actual children night light that can run expensive. The major issue I have come across is that after 2 nights its dead. I am using name brand batteries, and it only stays on for about 8 hours a night. We turn it on at bedtime, and back off when they wake up. I don't feel like it lasts as long as it should. I have purchased 2 and they both do this so I know it is not just a defect with one. I recommend if you can keep up with the batteries being replaced every couple days. It DOES NOT have motion detection, I am not sure why it asked me for the review on motion detection.

Our one year loves light switches, so we got him one of his own. He loves flipping it on and off constantly, and since it comes with adhesive strips (like command strips) you can place it anywhere! We stuck ours to a wall and he always checks to make sure it's still on.. definitely worth it for a night-light, toy, or that closet that's missing a light... Would buy again.

The magnets make these lamps easy to carry on vacation.Recently we took them with us and found they are versatile and bright. Their magnets make them easy to position because there was always a magnetic surface somewhere.

I use this is be able to see the corners of my closet. They were very easy to install and they do stick really well. I actually have them upside down and they stay just fine. I'm just not so impressed with the battery life

Not super bright, but good enough for what I needed. Put near door in rental where there should be a light switch. Gives just enough light so I can safely walk to the real light switch without tripping over stuff. Nice that it feels and functions like a real light switch.

Perfect backup for when the power goes out or while waiting for a wiring repair. As a nightlight, they would be too intense. Sometimes we've had to keep one on all night, and by the second or third night it's of course not as bright (more of a nightlight level), but I'm happy with how long they last before draining the batteries.

I have this light attached to my garage door. It has been attached using the hook and loop velcro tabs that were included on the door for over a month. Has stayed put with no issues. Takes 3 AAA batteries, is bright and does the job lighting the area brightly so we can see to use our keys.
