Pink is my favorite color. I like a pale, delicate pink, and so does my daughter. Each day for school, she likes to have one thing that’s pink, even if it’s just a hair bow, or a bracelet.When I saw this coat, I knew that it was perfect for her. I was a little nervous on the sizing, but I followed the size chart provided by the vendor and it fits absolutely perfectly. It’s not excessively bulky and it’s not so tight that she cannot wear a nice warm sweater underneath it. I do not know if I would do a lot of layering, but definitely a nice warm sweater that is moderately thick would do well.The craftsmanship on this is great. It has a satin type lining and soft outer shell.I actually have already had to wash this. My daughter was having a blue slush and spilled it down the entire front and sleeve of her coat. I’m pretty good at finding stains, in fact, I’ve only ever met for stains that I’ve not been able to remove in my lifetime. I wasn’t so much worried about removing the bright blue raspberry flavored slush from this coat, but I was a little concerned about how the garment would stay light and fluffy after being laundered.I used a spray bottle to deposit some enzymes on the stain. I waited a few minutes and I tossed it in with some other pink items. I washed it on cold and it was a regular spin cycle and regular soil level.Like I said, I was concerned that the fluff would not be light when I was done, since this seems to happen with anything that is fleece or furry, but as soon as I took it out of the washer, I could see that it was still nice and light.The color did not fade, the item did not shrink, and the fur did not seize up at all!Definitely get this little coat! It’s absolutely worth the money.
