I wanted a decanter with a glass top. It was actually more difficult to find one of quality for a reasonable cost than I expected. This one was exactly what I was searching for! Tickety-boo! :)

The quality of this decanter is wonderful but I was not expecting the bottom to be a full inch thick which makes the bottle heavy when empty but much heavier than necessary when full of liquid. I thought it would work nicely to keep my maple syrup in (instead of it being in a plastic bottle) but it's seriously heavy when full. Heavy by itself with nothing in it.

I am doing some glass etching with a sand blaster on these decanters for Christmas gifts and they are perfect for this !!They shipped quick and was packaged well and had no breakage.

I only just received this and to be honest as i was unpacking it i was disappointed that there was no gasket or cork coating on the stopper, however, the fit is so perfect it does not need it, its beautifully made and heavy duty, would recommend to anyone and/or give as a gift. Thank you Lilys Home. quality craftsmanship

For what you pay for this decanter you get ripped off. I have paid less and received better decanters in the past. You can see the seams up each side of the decanter and on the glass stopper. I would never give this piece of junk to someone as a gift. With the seam lines from the mold it just looks so cheap.
