Because there isn’t a base in the bottom- it tends to fold back into itself when our puppy jumps in. Also it doesn’t come with any balls which we realized later was the expensive part of this purchase. Does have good quality material and is sized per description.

This ball pit is mad cute! But you do get what you pay for. The walls are extremely flimsy and bends in consistently which is pretty annoying.
