the spout itself is really stiff. if you set it on the engine to let it drain into the fill hole it gets to a certain point where the spout will make the whole bucket dump over and spill oil. the oil also flows out slowly. but if you just need a cheap oil fill bucket this is an ok one

This is the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned!! The valve in the bottom does not seal so when you release the handle oil continues to flow. the filler spout is so rigid it won't bend and if you try to bend it to put in to the filler hole it flips out and throws oil everywhere. It is quite obvious whoever designed this never used and Lincoln Lubrication has never reviewed this product to see if it actually does what it is supposed to do.......

They were inexpensive and so far they are holding up fine. I would buy them again.

I'm glad someone still makes these, as archaic as they are it fills a need (no pun intended). my last one got damaged and I thought that I would not find another one. I use it to add 60 weight oil to aircraft radial engines, the oil fill is just about horizontal so funnels do not work, i have used flexable funnels but then it becomes a two person project. This holds two gallons which I need to only fill twice for a oil change. when not in use I put a shower cap over it to keep the dirt and dust out. All I can say is Yea!

Great for getting motor oil into tight spots on some makes of vehicles. Not as flexible as it needs to be for all vehicles and it did not shut off. What a mess! Without the can being marked for each quart and half a quart we are going to have to measure with a different can that is marked for measuring to be accurate in a vehicle that requires different amounts like 4, 4.5, 5.2, etc. Returning them. Not good enough for the business.

well, I guess when they said it would hold 8 qts they were talking about putting 7 in the can and holding the other qt in their hand. I tried to put 8 qts in but was only able to get a little over 7 in without it going over the top, the spout is very stiff and feels like it's made of plastic don't know how long that will hold up, but I guess I'll find out when my black gold goes all over the top of my motor.

This oil can is good to use when you buy bulk oil and want to measure into quarts.
