It is very cute but way smaller than I expected. It will hold a dozen or so eggs but it will be filled near the top I think.The wooden handle is sturdy. The rustic metal is that. Kinda rough and no feet at the base will like set on wood or soft tea towels so it doesn't scratch the counter.I would probably preferred the white or black powder coated for smoothness and ordered a larger size.I wasn't really looking at the dimensions.I bought for a gift. My grandsons can safely carry eggs from the coop to the house without losing any due to the narrower opening at the top. Actually, it will work for kids and petite hands pretty well.

This little basket is perfect for collecting our eggs. I carry it out to collect the eggs from our coop and bring it back inside for storage on the counter. It matches our kitchen decor. It has been sturdy so far and is comfortable to carry. We only have 4 chickens so the size is perfect for is. It could probably fit a little over 15 eggs.

This basket is really cute and sturdy but the wooden handle has red paint spots on it and is a bit lop sided so I gave it 4 stars for poor quality work. But it will work good for collecting eggs from my 16 laying hens. Overall I'm happy with it but it's a little on the spendy side for such a poor quality handle.

The basket is well made. I’ve had it for quite some time and there’s no fading at all. And I leave it outside hanging on my coops for a good part of the year. Very pleased and would recommend to anyone. And it’s cute to boot!

It was exactly what I was looking for to hold my pretty eggs. You can see the colors through the basket. It is sturdy and a nice rustic dark brown coloring vs many of the black wire baskets. Nice wood accent on the handle. Met or exceeded expectations! Would definitely buy again!

When I first received this cute little basket, I thought there was no way it would hold all the eggs we gather each day, but it easily holds 20-24 regular sized eggs. It's also nice how a lot of the shavings, dry poop and feathers fall out on the way back to the house.I think this sturdy wire basket will last for years, so a great value for the money! Not to mention, it's looks nicer hanging on the hook by the back door than the dirty, worn plastic buckets we've been using until now.

Basket was shoved into a box by the looks of it. Box was undamaged. Not sure what the loose piece was supposed to be.
