I liked the quality of this product, it looks high end so for the price it’s worth it. The water drains really well and it’s easy to clean. It just takes an additional step to clean it compared to regular drains because you have to lift the lid in order to reach the little strainer basket that holds all the hair and debris. To lift the lid I slide it to either side and remove it with my fingers. If you’re planning on using it in an apartment keep in mind that with these rectangular drains it’s a bit more challenging to create an angle so the water flows properly because typically, there’s not enough ground depth to work with. I’m no plumber but that’s how it was for me.

Great buy for drain! We have this at our beach house & great for people with long hair for cleaning out the drain. We put this in our bathroom renovation! We ended up adding tile to the drain area, but it can be done with our without tile in the insert. Very clean look.

Drain is decent quality and looks nice when installed but bucket is too small and gets clogged up within a week. Prefer bucket with bigger wholes or better drainage system.

The French drain had a beautiful finish to it. Brushed brass. I used it in my new shower.
