Sensitivity can be adjusted by placement between eyes on fishing rod. This product could be improved significantly if the on/off switch would stay on once ativated.

These work as described, but far too loud for normal Fishing if you’re someone that likes to take a nap while fishing it would be a good alarm. People all around the pond are able to hear this thing when it goes off.

If the sensitivity could be lower (requiring less pressure to trigger the alarm), this product would work perfectly for tip-down ice fishing applications, and it would practically sell itself! I bought these not expecting too much from them. However, they work great as intended. Although there have been several reviews stating that they had been received without the batteries, but all 4 of mine had the batteries already installed. I am not sure that I care for the wrapping the fishing line around the devices, as it inhibits the ability to immediately reel your catch in, because you have to remove the line from the device to do so. I bought these to help others who fish with me to be able to know when a fish is on their lines. I personally handle my line by allowing the line to rest on my fingers so I know whether I have a bite, or not.

Highly recommended for Bait and Wait fishing. Sit back and relax. Enjoy fishing! Usage and quality is worth the price. I didn't miss any bite. Just missed collecting the fish (no catching net available) LOL!
