This yarn is wonderful! It has a very soft feel and is great for various projects like blankets, garments, and baby clothes. It doesn't split or tangle, making it easy to work with. The center-pull works really well, and I didn't find any knots or snags. The yarn holds its shape well and has a nice sheen to it. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced crafters.

Original order was a skein of white. Liked the way it handled, and ordered several skeins in lots of colors.I make doll sweaters for 14.4†and 18†dolls for the grandkids. The doll in the two photos is a 14.5†doll.The yarn has a nice luster, is lightweight and smooth to handle. The colors are very nice. It is very forgiving, and doesn’t split very easily. The single crochet stitch used in the all white sweater vest was a little stiff. The double crochet stitch used in the colored sweater was softer. I used an aluminum Size H crochet hook for each sweater.I found no frayed or cut ends in the skeins. Each skein was packaged in a plastic bag in the mailing envelope, and was clean and pristine. There were no issues with the cleanliness or condition of any of the numerous skeins I received.I enjoyed crocheting with this yarn. It was nice to handle, and easy to make into tiny doll sweaters. I may find a larger project to use this yarn on.Your mileage may vary. Happy crocheting!

This is 100% (mercerized) 4/medium worsted cotton. It’s intended to have a different texture and is much more durable than conventional cotton yarn without the loss of a nice feel.The feel and look of a higher quality is obvious once you touch a finished piece. Yes, the yarn feels different than standard yarn. It’s supposed to. It’s processed differently for a reason.This particular yarn is perfect for any project that will be used or handled frequently. It is stronger, doesn’t produce heavy lint, doesn’t get fuzzy or pill up, doesn’t split easily, and is more resistant to mildew. It holds its shape better than regular cotton yarn, and withstands many many washes and tumble dries on a medium heat setting. (Don’t use bleach or fabric softener.)I disagree with the reviews that call it “thread†or dk weight. Not true. Yes, there is a dk version of this brand, but it clearly says dk on the front part of the label. The thickness is comparable of an identical piece stitched with standard cotton yarn.The yarn swatches up just as noted on the label:Crochet Gauge (4in x 4in)14 single crochets x 19 rowsusing a G-6 (4 mm) crochet hookKnit Gauge (4in x 4in)20 stitches x 28 rowsusing #6 (4 mm) knitting needlesPhoto 1: My current 24/7 yarn stash is from in-store and Amazon purchases over a several month time span. The overall quality and color of yarn is consistent across the board, regardless of where it was purchased from. They are a hot commodity because of the durability and how they hold their vibrant color for a long time. Definitely better than any store bought dishcloth/washcloth. Very nice yarn! It is not 100% cotton as I thought, but the majority of it is. It is a fairly thin yarn, but with a larger crochet stitch it made a nice scarf for winter weather. It took 6 skeins between two colors, but very much worth it as the recipient was thrilled.
