Connecting:
- About the positive electrode electrode and negative electrode interfaces, you need to connect correctly, otherwise, it will fail to charge.
- About the connectors, you need to connect correctly, otherwise, it will fail to charge.
- If you choose the balance mode, about the balance port, you need to connect the balance board on the right side, otherwise, it will fail to charge.
- After setting, press the "ENTER" button for 3 seconds, then you can charge the battery.

I recently bought this Battery Charger, and it's been a game-changer for my RC setup. It charges quickly (150W, 10A) and works with a variety of battery types, including LiPo, Li-ion, and NiMH. This little charger has a very powerful cooling fan. The cooling fan is a tad loud but it's in my shop anyway so it's irrelevant. I have an 80 watt charger of a near identical version. Ran two 4S packs 7200 milliamp. This charger took 44 minutes to charge... The 80 watt version took 67 minutes. This charger cost about 15 bucks more than the 80 watt version. Worth every penny. It also has some more features such as battery testing and voltage readouts. For the money really can't beat this charger! You could also run it off your car battery if you're out in the field.

I was hoping that paying more money for a better charger would remove some of the foreknowledge needed to take care of these types of batteries. But you still have to program charge cycle yourself.Pros:- If you've got a battery for RC vehicles or airsoft guns, the cable squid is going to have connections for it as long as the connection isn't proprietary.- Can handle a wide variety/capacities/voltages- Does function as expected (as long as you set the program correctly).Cons:- You still need to set the charge rate and battery type yourself. The battery type is easy enough to read off the label, but the ideal charge rate is something you have to "know" how to set based on the amp-hours of your battery. From what I understand this formula is Charge Rate (in amps) = Total Battery Capacity (in amp hours) / (1 to 2 depending on how fast you need it to go). So a NiMH 3200 mAh battery should be charged at between 1.6 and 3.2 amps for the longest lifespan. But don't quote me on that. It would be nice if you could just put in the amp hours of your battery and it would choose like a "fast" or "lifespan" charge rate itself for all battery types.- Everything that can be loud on this device is loud. The keypress beeps are unnecessarily loud in particular, but you can turn them off in the settings, thank goodness. The fan is pretty powerful and runs at 100% while charging, so it sounds like a wetvac or perhaps even that RC plane that you're charging the battery for taking off, ironically. You'd think at this pricepoint the fan would ramp up as needed based on the temperature of the components, but I guess it's better safe than sorry.- The included cable case is nice to have, but it would've been even nicer if it could fit the charger itself as well or have some way to bundle it to the charger so you can pack everything easily. Also the velcro used to hold the case shut is unnecessarily strong, like, industrial 10lb velcro for no apparent reason.Conclusion: It functions but I'm not sure it's worth the premium pricing. Considering you still have to do the same stuff as you would for a more economical "smart" charger; all you get for your money is an LCD screen with some status information and maybe a bit more variety of battery compatibility.

This little charger seems safe and dependable. On a 5200 mah lipo, will charge 2 batteries at once in about 6 to 8 hrs. Very compact and does the job

I bought this multifunctional RC battery charger to change my many devices. It is cover in a clear plastic yet durable shell that is made of fire proof material. Built inside a heat emission hole and a smart cooling fan for easy heat dissipation faster, prevents overheating. The built in cooking fan also has an on and off switch. It’s compatible with a lot of different battery types and it has a fast charge. It can charge a drone or it could charge a remote controlled car. Very easy to learn, had no problem with set up. Great battery charger for such a reasonable price.

I liked that the power supply is built and contains a fan to keep things cool. There are plenty of battery connector options. The small board for balancing plugs is good. The four button selectors are similar to other chargers in this range. I was able to charge my LiPo, LiFE, NiMH batteries successfully.

Doesn't balance charge lipo batteries, says i5 will but only throws error codes with brand new batteries since it over charged two of my older ones wouldn't advise anyone to buy.

I've owned a few high-end chargers in the last 25 years of doing RC. I must say that this unit is the best one I've used to date. Very good quality, strong, reliable, and reasonably priced as well. Zero issues.

This is well designed and easy to use. You can charge and balance most battery types and even discharge batteries. Lots of connectors. I only wish they had JST connectors.
