I have a very heavy camper so this pushes this motor two it’s limits. The gear box attached to the motor is plastic which is honestly probably fine. The issue is the shafts that hold the gears in place fit loosely with a lot of play.The gearbox is also fairly loud. My old gearbox had a spiral gear, which is much quieter.The new motor spins at a lower RPM, which intern should have more torque. The old motors 7140 rpm new motor 5500 rpm.While the new motor doesn’t blow the breaker it does have an internal clutch that does operate under normal Operation.I feel like I’m asking a lot from this inexpensive plastic gearbox and motor. I think I may end up getting my old motor rewound As a back up.

My old motor was moving very slow on my fifth wheel. I ordered this to replace it in my first step of troubleshooting and it worked perfectly.

Slot on drive gear was to big. Kept slipping. Had to return. Need to pay attention to model numbers and rpm's.

When I put it on my fifth wheel got it all hooked up turned it on it started popping and jumping it took the gearbox out , the motor it was not made to pick up 5,000 lb weight maybe a smaller trailer but I was told it was applicable to my camper so I threw it away and had to order another one
