This is a great product for improving acrylic paint consistency. Metallic paints, and other nonmetallic brands, tend to be too thick for specific art applications, and this product improves them dramatically. I wouldn't trust any other brand for my work.

This gel medium, while a bit pricey, is a wonderful product for it’s adhesive properties and effects. It has an even glossy finish and is easy to apply with a brush. It’s also easy to clean with soap and water. I use it to adhere dried flowers onto paper and the results are beautiful. I highly recommend this product as an alternative to a matte finish depending upon what you’re looking for.

Liquitex / Gloss Acrylic Fluid Medium and Varnish, 8-ozLiquitex is a great brand, they make quality products and have beenaround for many years! It does take some practice to get good resultswith this product. So Practice using it on something else besides yourmasterpiece. I'm using this product to seal, to help protect and bringout the vibrant colors of my finished Paint Pour Artwork.I haven't seen any yellowing or cracking with it. Besides a little practiceruns, I haven't had any issues with this product so far.*Water basedI do wish it was more affordable for me though.. It can be pricey at times.I do recommend Liquitex products.....Enjoy and Happy Creating!

It dries super quick even after several coats. The shine it has is really beautiful& it’s completely easy to clean up your brushes. Great product, but then it’s another great liquitex product.

Liquitex know what they're doing. Their heavy body paints are some of the best acrylic paints there is. This gloss medium is way better than any cheap medium. It dries completely clear, like water, unlike cheap mediums that are slightly white.Liquitex Professiuonal Gloss Fluid, Medium and Varnish is glossy and nice, not a cheap-looking glossy but a clean and fresh glossy. I've previously been working with gel medium, so I was a little bit worried about working with liquid medium but even though it was liquid it still wasn't too runny. The consistency was perfect to make the medium easy to work with without being too runny. I haven't used this as a varnish yet because I prefer spray varnish. But as it dries completely clear I think this would look great as a varnish too.

Instead of repeating all the good & true benefits of using this gloss medium for collage, I think the following needs mentioning. This GLOSS medium is MORE ADHESIVE THAN THE MATTE. This might not matter to everyone, but take note if you use a variety of paper weights and/or lightweight objects in your art. (they make heavy medium for heavier objects). Dedicate an old paintbrush to use solely for medium application, because once you allow the medium to dry between the bristles, it will never be the same. I generally use a 1/2†brush, with bristles that have a bit of stiffness to them.

Lo he usado para mezclar con el medium para hacer pouring con acrÃlico en lienzo. El resultado ha sido estupendo, le da un brillo uniforme y se mezcla con los colores muy bien.

I got this to use in my airbrush to give my model cars a nice glossy finish. It does need to be thinned but that can easily done with water and requires several coats for good coverage. It doesn't have that strong smell that you get with spray can stuff, which is really nice for me since I work in a relatively small space.Haven't used it much but what I have seen so far I am really liking it. I plan to get the matte version of this as well.

Did not expect it is only small bottle in comparison to the high price. Never buy again from this site.
