Had problems breaking shear nuts on the bendix brake calipers trying to retract pistons. Was just needing a little extra torque. This did not break the chain that connects the 2 pistons and was the correct size. Perfect perfect tool!!!

The adapters we have been getting recently break easily and are useless. I bought this socket for stubborn calipers, but now use it on almost all of them. You do have to be careful to not over torque the calipers, but this socket so far makes me think it will still be in excellent condition when I plan to retire in 5 years.

worked great for those sticky bendix brake calipers that keep shearing off the adapters or for when you open up the dust cover and find they are already gone. caution you can break the internals of the caliper since there is no give when your fulley retracted so make sure you pay attention
