Excellent tool, I tried every other line disconnect I could think of but could not fit it between the line and filter housing. Even tried cutting down my plastic removal tool with no luck. This worked perfectly, it's a little cumbersome, but I don't see any way around it. Also, once the tool clicks and pushes the tabs out I had to remove the handle from the disc's to pull the line off the filter.

Worked like a charm. I sprayed the whole fitting with a penetrating lube first and let it sit for a bit. Make sure you have the pieces in straight and not angled before using black handle tool. Tool is efficient enough to remove the line. If you have no movement in the quick connect and are trying to force the tool the fitting could be seized. My filter was the original off a 2002 Suburban. This tool was effortless to use and made removal a breeze.

bought an old suburban that I was told needed a fuel pump - verified pump was bad and replaced - only to find that the tank also leaked - since the fuel pump was new I did not want to damage pump when removing so I bought this kit as well as the master kit from LISLE - this was the only kit I ended up using but you can never have too many tools - I have never been disappointed with the quality of tools from LISLE - I have accumulated quite a few of them
