I bought this initially to remove door panels, having decided that it was time to graduate from scratching things up by digging around with screwdrivers. I have since used it for a variety of purposes, mostly for removing the plastic fasteners that hold so many things together on modern cars. It has proven to be a handy and durable tool that, once I got it, I wished I had learned about and purchased years ago. It is such an improvement over the ways I used to hack away with incorrect tools, and it also saves me time and makes my repairs look more professional.I have been using this tool for over a year now, and continue to use it more often thanI thought I would. I bought a cheaper set of plastic tools from Ebay previously, and was disappointed by the quality of the plastic. When I saw this item on Amazon, I decided to give it a go. It arrived today, and within minutes I was using it to pry off several interior panels and trim pieces in my car. I bought these to access the window hand-crank assembly in my car, and this did the work with minimal effort and no damage to the panels.The tool itself is simple and of decent quality. Certainly well worth the modest price. If you want to lessen the chances of inadvertently scratching the paintwork on the inside of your door, you can put some masking tape onto the prongs to cushion it.

I have had a set of these for year. I purchased this one and there Lisle 35260 Plastic Fastener Remover for my son's Christmas present. They are good and solid that will last a life time. Do not expect them to work everywhere or on everything. Auto manufactures keep changing fasteners designs. I am a DYIer.

I misplaced my snap on trim removal tool so bought this lisle one on a whim. I love it so much I bought a second one. The angle of the tool is much better than the snap on one and the handle is larger and more comfortable.
