Worked perfectly for the G.M. tilt/tele steering (1977 Chrysler NYB). I could not do this job without the tool. Solid robust tool. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Seems like a pro level tool to me. Strong steel. I used it to pull the steering wheel of a 97 Chevy. No way it would have come off without the puller. Has several different bolts. Instructions would have been nice but its straight-forward to use.

Had to deal with a 1988 Chevy steering wheel - boy, did this make the job a snap.Normally would've taken 3 people to do the job:1) To push the steering lock plate down2) To pull the steering shaft3) To install the lock ringAlthough I was wary that the 1/2" nut was too small for it's purpose, it easily was able to thread down onto the tool shaft against the huge spring (which looked like a lifter spring).I don't know what the metric collar is used for, but the SAE one covers GM from 60's to 90's - that's a huge spread!

I bought this because some %#$@ tried to steal my buddy's truck and smashed up the lock cylinder. Paying someone to replace it costs a few hundred bucks and I knew we could do it cheaper. I ordered both a new lock and cylinder set and this tool from Amazon and we did the job ourselves. The kit worked quite well and it seems to be of decent quality. Can verify this works great on GMT-400 series trucks and should also work well on similar era GM products.
