using this is much easier to use than trying to pry a hose off with a screwdriver or pliers. especially on small engines like lawn movers and generators. simple and effective to use, has exceeded my expectations

Super handy! especially in tight areas were you'll band your hand pulling on the house when it breaks free!

This tool really helps out freeing up those auto hoses that are hard to remove. It breaks the hose free initially and then you can just pull it off by hand. The one suggestion, as mentioned by others, is I would recommend using gloves as you can get some skin caught when pressing the handles together (crazy design flaw) but aside from that, a very useful tool.

I thought this would be more like a gimmick but it is actually quite useful. I find myself using these more and more when pulling hoses off, especially the smaller coolant and vacuum hoses. Definitely worth the money. Not a silver bullet or a deal breaker by any means but I believe it allows you to be more careful when working on machines/engines, thus delivering a higher quality end result. The devil is in the details. Overall, I think everyone should have a pair of these in their tool box! Don't use it every day but when you do it, it is nice.

Not quite as slim as i would like but a shimmy with a flat head and it slides right in super easy to use and makes removing hoses a cake walk

Amazon, when stating prime delivery, changed to 2 days now…but it takes 3 days…like normal postal service…you need to, at least change your statement to 3 days prime delivery. The pliers are amazing. Sturdy and they work well with fuel delivery lines.
