Used it to replace a section of 5/16 inch tubing on the rear ac for my 2014 Nissan Armada. The damaged section was very difficult to access and this tool fit and made a very good cut. One of the best Amazon purchases I ever made.

The quality of this cutter is nothing special, but it does have one important feature that really helped make it much better suited for what I was doing... The wheel below the cutter blade is solid, so cutting very small pieces of tubing works much better because the entire piece is supported as it is cut.

This little thing makes perfect cuts and is worth every dollar. For the price you can pick one up and stash it away with your brake line tools till needed again some day instead of convincing yourself that you already have some small tube cutter you *think* will work with your plumbing supplies.

Had to cut the fuel line to the gas tank on a Toyota Camry with 5/16" fuel line. It worked in a tight space and patiently cut the steel fuel line to get access to replace the fuel pump.
I didn't buy it.

Worked very well for cutting 1/16" OD brass tubing. Held material securely, didn't "walk", cut flush. Minimal burr at kerf cut. I would recommend it for the hobbyist. I cut 20 pieces , the blade held its edge and each piece cut true.

I was looking for something cheap for a quick task and was encouraged by a couple of positive reviews about using this with very small diameter tubing. Unfortunately, this just doesn’t cut it, pun intended.

I'm an engineer that designs custom lab equipment. I often work with stainless steel tubing down to 1/16" OD for microfluidics. This Lisle tubing cutter is a great value for prototype projects whereas similar tubing cutters sold by lab equipment suppliers or manufacturers cost several hundred dollars to perform the same job.

Terrific little device. Seems excellent for modelling with small diameter tube up to about 1cm
