Great for pulling hoses.However, please BE CAREFUL. These pullers are sharp enough to pierce hoses, especially on older vehicles. Had a co-worker accidentally pierce a heater hose using these when replacing a water pump on a customer’s work van. Small enough leak that no one knew what happened until the owner brought it back to the shop days later. As you can probably imagine, the guy was not happy. Again, great tools but BE CAREFUL.

I have needed a good set of large picks, seems you always need to poke or snag or occasionally even remove a hose. The handles on these are OK, not great but they are smaller so it does make it easier to reach down into the guts of a tight engine compartment. The picks themselves are perfect, heavy gauge metal that is not going to bend or even flex with hard use.

I bought this set, because that have flated, not pointed, ends. Its safer to work with hoses. At first look metal seems strong, not bending. Handles made from plastic, little bit bulky, but handy. Whereas first impression is good.

Lisle makes some Great specialty tools and this is one of them. These hose tools let You remove stubborn stuck on hoses without damaging them. A Great addition to any tool box.

Two of the best shaped hose pick. Not worried about them puncturing the hoses. Very sturdy handles. Not worried about breaking them. I work on semi trucks and these are great at removing large stuck hoses. Would definitely purchase again.Going to get a second set for my tool box at home
