Urethane rollers are inserted into steel bushings which are molded into the creeper body. Provides added strength and easy roller replacement. Low profile, 7/8 inch floor clearance. Easy to clean surface is resistant to solvents, greases and fuels.

It's light, comfortable, low profile, and very durable. Another great product from Lisle as usual. Rolls through floor dry just fine but will get stuck on larger items like nuts, bolts, or zip ties at times which is to be expected. It's not an off road creeper.

Superb quality and design. Contoured shape is designed for comfort, and it delivers. Sturdy plastic, not flimsy; will not easily puncture. Headrest is positioned just right for working under a vehicle. Caster wheels work really well; six wheels total help distribute load better over whole creeper, and enable ease of maneuvering while under a vehicle. Plastic is easy to clean as well, as oil-spills onto the creeper are inevitable. Built-in handles for easy carry and storage.I intentionally avoided an otherwise high quality alternative. The Arcan creeper has vinyl cushioning, which can easily puncture. Other creepers with metal frames may seem sturdy in their advertisements, but they often have flimsy 1/4" wood panels running across the metal frames, which can puncture easily.Definitely recommend the Lisle Plastic Creeper! The one I got is a cleanly built, blow-molded creeper that easily supports my 240 lbs. It feels comfortable. Assembly requires hammering 6 ball-bearing casters into sockets. It took this old guy about 2 minutes with a rubber hammer.Overall, this Lisle 97102 creeper is the good value I was looking for in a sturdy, but reasonably priced creeper.

I have a rough garage floor with several uneven joints. This rolls across them without any issues. It is also very comfortable and seems well-built. Definitely worth the extra $$$. The only drawback is that it did not come with the "grey wheels" that everyone is raving about, even though the product description says that it does. I didn't feel that it was enough to deduct an entire star, however. The product still works great.

UPDATE 4/16/2016:: I added a photo below showing the wheels the creeper now comes with versus the older grey urethane wheels it used to come with. For me, that was a big downgrade in wheel quality, but it is still a good creeper. As of the writing of this update, Amazon still has the creeper with the grey wheels pictured, as does most other places... but it comes with black, hard plastic wheels now.Having tried foam padded and other types of creepers, my go to creeper is still the hard plastic type like this Lisle. And when it was time to buy a new one, and I saw Lisle now made this creeper in Black (in addition to the traditional Red, Yellow and Blue), I had to get it. We all know why Black is a good color for things like this when working on cars! Most are aware of the pro's / con's of these types of creepers - for the pro's, there is no hinge system to flop around when you move it, no metal bars / rails on the sides for your shirt to fall through, and no soft material / padding which can get torn or ripped in rougher environments. Also, the plastic, one piece construction make this easy to move and store, I really like I can pick this up by the handle, and quickly move it without the headrest flopping around. It is simple and light, and easily stands up against a wall with no negotiation. For the con's - the plastic might not be as comfortable for some, and you can still get your shirt caught in the wheels if you are not careful. I typically wear an over-shirt (button down) when working on cars, and inevitably forget to button the one or two bottom buttons, and find that out after I move the creeper!!! (I hate when that happens).A couple of things to note about the creeper I purchased - first, I got it for $53.96 plus $6.99 S&H here on Amazon - and the seller was Tooltopia. I am not sure if Tooltopia is still selling this creeper for the same price, but when I bought it the price was the same on their website as it was here on Amazon. Tooltopia is a great seller, have had MANY great shopping experiences with them - and my creeper arrived in two days. Interestingly, I have seen this creeper selling in some places for over $100, so just be wary of the price.Second - the wheels. Previous versions of the Lisle creeper I purchased had the grey urethane wheels - just like the ones pictured in this Amazon ad as of the day I wrote this, and in virtually every picture / ad I have seen for Lisle creepers. I like the grey urethane wheels a lot, and of course just assumed I would be getting them with this creeper. Well, guess what - the creeper now comes with a different wheel - a black, harder plastic wheel, which I did not like. When I called Lisle, they stated it was a "running change" to the creeper, and the wheel has been changed. Even so, all the pics of the creeper still show grey wheels. Luckily I had a set of grey wheels on hand to replace the black ones it came with - but I knocked off a star due to the surprise. Note that they could change the pic at any point to show the new black wheels - just a heads up....Overall, I prefer these types of creepers due to their simplicity and what that means to using and moving the creeper. Everyone's needs are different with creepers, so YMMV.Thanks for reading.

Love this creeper so far. I had a cheapie harbor freight version for a while and broke it fairly quickly (6’ and 220lbs for reference). This one from lisle is similar in size and shape so it has that same familiar comfort that I’m used to but it also seems much sturdier than the HF version so I expect it to last much longer. I’ve used several over products from Lisle and they’re always solid deals.

Great product. Simple but well made. Wheels are very high quality and appear to be easy to lubricate or service if needed, as they are open-bearing design. Handles make moving it a breeze.Rolls around with ease, and feels about as ergonomically correct as you could get for something like this. The headrest is very basic but also supportive. If it ever wore out, or you wanted to replace it just for fun, it would be extremely easy to do.The whole product is very modular which is rare and nice to see.
