The Covercote Blade leaves a 5 mm (1/5-inch) cut length, which is comparable to a #5 clipper blade. Made of solid stainless steel and with a blade width of 3 inches, the Covercote helps you clip or shear down your large animal quickly. This is a great blade for body clipping horses and clipping market goats for show.

Perfect blade for a smooth show cut. Works well on our Lister Star clippers. Also keep in mind this is just the clipper blade.

Perfect for cutting Golden Retrievers.The clippers come with blades that are 2.5mmThese 5mm blades are the perfect blades for cutting dogs and I can only speak for Golden Retrievers.Very nice smooth low but not skin low.Much better that the 2.5mm
