These are exactly the same pegs you'd get with a Lite Brite, so they're compatible with the boards. I don't understand why they're so expensive when you could buy a whole new Lite Brite for a little bit more. I would definitely prefer an option without the rolled-up templates in the package, it seems wasteful to throw them out but they just never flatten out after being rolled up so tight. They do the job, but the price is unnecessary.

My daughter had a Lite Brite when she was a child, now it is her children who are enjoying the Lite Brite. I really didn't know whether I could find refills, but here they are. The pegs are colorful and bold. It's a joy to see my GRANDS enjoying this blast from the past and I'm glad to see they're still being produced.

I ordered these so our granddaughter could use the Light Brite I've had for years. For whatever reason, the template designs don't line up with the holes. I have to find the hole, make a small hole in the paper so she can put the pegs in. Also, the new pegs have a longer, blunt tip on them and stick up higher that the older type pegs. Needless to say, this was a little frustrating for us both!
