I was apprehensive about getting the 8pack, I followed the instructions to activate them in sunlight for few hours( pack says 2h but I forgot and let them remain a little longer) and I placed them wherever I thought we needed one like closet, shoe organizer, kitchen near the trash, rooms etc within few days I found the smell improved. When we come back after few hours of leaving the house it used to smell musty earlier but it is no longer the case, we love thisOther reviewers say it lasts 2 years I will wait and watchWill buy again for sure

Use these in a camper to help with humidity. Works well, nothing spectacular but I would purchase them again. Adds a little extra help with deodorizing too.

Ooo I love this product. I had a leak in basement and after fixing it I could not get the musty smell out. And this is exactly what I needed to get that smell out.

I bought the activated charcoal bags for a tiny closet where I keep various leather overcoats that are used extremely rarely. About a week ago, I placed some bags in the closet. Looks like the leather smell is not that strong anymore. I don't expect that it'll be gone completely, but at least I can attest to the fact that activated charcoal is not entirely useless.

I’d like the idea of these as the inside of my car can get kind of stuffy in the cold weather since the windows are almost all the time up. We also have two dogs so sometimes that can compound the stuffiness of the interior. I read where these type of things are helpful to mitigate the odor in the car. These are well-made and are a very good price compared to others for sale on Amazon. I’ve only used them for a couple of months so I do not know how effective they are.

this product was great for our car, it absorbed the moisture and mildew order from the leaky seals on the doors and trunk

I put 6 bags in my moldy smelling, 10X15 basement and they did nothing to contain the smell. I put two bags in a 10X10 bedroom that smelled like electrical burning (but there wasn't actually ever a burn) and they did nothing.
