I purchased these odor-eliminating bags due to the musty smell in my brand new car. Despite my efforts to air out the car, the smell persisted. As a last resort, I decided to try these bags. I placed two bags in the car, one in the front and one in the back. After a few days, I noticed a significant improvement. The smell had diminished greatly. I continued to use the bags for a few more days and now, the odor is completely gone. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase, as it solved my problem effectively and efficiently.

These work nice to omit the smell in the room where we have our puppy pads.Our dog has, and always have had, no matter how much he drinks (for those about to offer opinions of health) a strong urine smell. No one can figure out why. But this is the only product recommended that has actually fully eliminated it! Once a week we lay the product in the sun to energize the coal contents. and then re-hang it back near the pads, and it does it's thing. The person that told us about it, bought a used car and it had a super strong odor in it that he could not remove. He hung a few of these in it and it completely got rid of it in a few months, but during those months, it masked it so he could not smell it. What a wonderful product this is.

didn't take the gasoline smell completely out of garage. but maybe will over time. at lest it is much better - not as strong smelling as it wasyes would recommend because of the convenience and size. I may use more than one to solve my problem

They will not get rid of musty smell if that's what you're looking for they do keep the odor down especially if you have the trash sitting out for at least a week they keep that odor down so I can't complain

I was hoping these would help draw out the musty mildew smell along with rat urine smell my neglected car had after it sat for 6 months before we were able to repair it. I thoroughly deep cleaned the car with dawn and vinegar wash for the hard surfaces then went back with auto wipes and used a detail extractor and washed and dried the seats and carpets with the recommended Bissell mixture (if not a little stronger than recommended to wash out the bad smell). After completely dry I used an ozone generator for 1 hour that evening and again in the morning. I then put all 4 of the charcoal packs inside, one in the rear glass area, one on the dashboard, and the other two in front and back seats. Some if not all had access to full sun throughout the day and plenty of airing out time with the windows rolled down for 2-3 days at the beginning. The car smelled clean for the first two days, but when the car gets hot and it sits for a day or two the smell is still there. These just don't pull the smell out like I was expecting. I've had them in there for over a month now and I'm not seeing any new results. I think I'm just going to have to deep clean the seats again and ozone one more time. These bags are a decent size, 5 inches by 7 inches, so for a small car you would expect some kind of change being that i stuck all 4 of them in there. The bags seem breathable and capable of absorbing odors but maybe they just aren't up for this task. I might try moving them to an old steamer trunk I have and see if they will do any better at removing old smells from that. I'll try to update this review if I see any change. So far I'm pretty disappointed but perhaps I just gave them too big of a job to tackle.Edit about the steamer trunk: I put two packs inside the trunk after it was sealed with shellac. If anyone has used shellac you know it can have a funky smell that takes awhile to dissappear. Leaving it closed I finally checked back on it a month or so later. It doesn't have any funky smell now! Smells fine but it took several weeks. I finally just forgot about it and then opened it up later to realize I was trying the charcoal packs out again 😂

I purchased this in an attempt to remove burnt cooking smell from a cupboard over my stove. I was pleasantly surprised that after setting two bags in the cupboard for a couple days the burnt smell was removed. I also 'recharged' them by placing them outside in the direct sun. That successfully removed the odor that had been absorbed from the cupboard.

Used these in my show truck to get rid of a musty smell from a poor detail job. Using two of them for several months and no change. Waste of more money to make someone else richer
