Our family loves the Litter Genie systems! We have two in our home next to each of our cat litter boxes.They also make these for babies diapers.People THEY WORK!We have four cats, sadly one passed recently - so we did have five cats and if you clean your box regularly and use the Litter Genie system and refills you will never have a smelly home!I love the convenience as well. No more keeping all of those plastic bags from the store hoping there is no hold in them so you can put cat poo in them!These bags never rip no matter how heavy they become.You put the refill into the litter genie system and tie an end at the bottom of the plastic to make the bag. Then when it is full you use the cutter which is part of the system to cut the bag and tie it up and throw away. Then tie a new knot at the bottom and you are good to go again. One refill lasts for about 6 bags full. Remember though we have four cats! Yours will last a lot longer if you only have one or two cats.Now as for price, this is not necessarily less expensive than you can find in store, it is about the same or maybe even a slight bit more but sometimes I just order here because it is more convenient if I am already placing an order for other things.The main thing is there is NO ODOR in your home when you use this!They have been on the market for a very long time now and that is for a good reason!

These bags are fabulous for odorlessly containing used litter. Easy to install & replace. For 1 indoor only cat a single litter genie tray lasts for weeks with daily use.My Kitty litter box is in my bedroom and there is zero odor coming from the bag. If concerned about smell add a little baking soda into the bag.Highly recommend the entire genie system.

I have been using these for seven years. I have usually had no problem. Occasionally, the perforation on the starter tab is poor, which causes great frustration. But I so appreciate the concept and the way it traps both the odor and the ugliness of cat "business". However....I am quite sure I am getting less time between cartridge changes, thus I suspect there's been a change in the amount of liner in each cartridge. The last dozen I bought lasted just six months for two cats. Just be advised that while this does what it's designed for very well, this is NOT a bargain.
