I expected a little larger surface area, the total combined area it covered was about 4 x 4 inches. Each piece was about the size of a silver dollar or smaller (mostly smaller). Arrived in good condition though-- when it finally arrived.

Loved my mixed lichen assortment order so much I just ordered two more! Nice variety, healthy, packaged with care. There is something magical about this type of lichen mix! Upon delivery, broke my order into thirds, saving one type for later and two 1/3 portions for glass teapot terrariums. Using this mix plus some other plants and pincushion moss I made one teapot terrarium for us and one to donate to my local historical society for a raffle. Would buy again and I have!

I know what I purchased, however wasn’t expecting a littleBaggy of dried out half dead dirt with some sporish looking studs coming from it.

Even though I read the other reviews I was still surprised at the small amount of lichen I received. I just hope after spending 18.00 that it lives. I need to order more but think I will try another company.
