Absolutely LOVE this scratcher for my animals!!!The scratcher is perfect for both my goats and my horse. My horse will use this scratcher for her neck and face. I used bailing twine to tie the scratcher to my fence, and it’s holding on just fine. I ended up getting a second scratcher, and I drilled it into a spool for my goats. The scratcher comes with some heavy duty screws to make sure it stays secure. The scratcher is very lightweight, which is nice for moving it around and installing it.The bristles are hard, but not so hard that I’m worried about them hurting the animals. They are sturdy, and this product is going to last a very long time. Absolutely no complaints!

I have miniature horses and they grow super thick winter coats (think yaks). This works well for them to get those winter itches scratched and to help with shedding on their own. The round shape allows it to be attached to standard pipe corral panels. I was concerned about the stiffness but it’s been fine and they’re happy.

I don't have any cows but I do have a large dog that like to rub up against trees and corners. I hung this up on a porch post and he quickly figured out what it was. It is definitely his new favorite toy and I see him get up for his naps just to rub up against it and then go lay back down.

Ordered this Livestock Scratching Brush - Cow, Horse, Goat, Livestock Brushes For Scratching for myfarm animals. My goats have always love to rub and scratch up against barn corners, post, and even light pole. My Lassie Collie dog does as well. While recently shopping online for some farm and garden supplies, I saw this HD bristle brush that mounts on pole, and/or multiple applications. After reading about how strong it is and firm bristles and heavy duty design, I ordered it for my animals.Love this brush. It's very well made and heavy duty. I put it on my light pole next to barn and shop and the funny part is that it's always "Crowded" around the pole and them using this brush. It's comical to watch them all. Also, my Collie loves it. He starts on one side at his nose and rubs all way back to his tale, then turns around and does the other side. It's just fun to watch them all enjoy it. Their all like kids with new toys!. I like that the center base is very well made and tough. It came with HD mounting screws/bolts. I have to give this a (5) star rating and do recommend

Now don't let the photo fool you, these are not nearly as big as they show them against a cow's head - they're a little less than a foot and a half tall, but if you them put at the top of a good fence post WILL still make your cows happy...but they're better sized for a goat or pig and let me tell you, goats LOVE them! They'll spend a lot of time scratching against the brush, so they do need to be firmly affixed to a surface, but other than that they're hard wearing and a great enrichment toy for your livestock, including cows, horses, and even pigs.

My goats live on rough pasture, and they end up with burs, mud and leaves on them periodically as they range about or nap on the hillsides. They always need a good scratching brush! I used to make do with old push-broom heads, mounted on a post, but those weren't very durable with itchy goats rubbing themselves all over them. These brushes, by contrast, are made to handle that abuse. They have a full arch of bristles so the goats can really get a good angle on some of the tough to scratch crevices and divots on their frames, and you can mount these in a lot of different configurations: back to back around a T-post, side by side on a wooden wall for a long scratching bank, or separately on wooden posts so they don't have to compete with each other for time on the scratching brush. I appreciate that they include different mounting hardware to accommodate any of those options. Very nice set, and I'm putting them inside the barn so they'll be sheltered from UV light and last a good long time.The goats think this is definitely one of the best human inventions ever!
