Donkey's tail is a beautiful, popular, and easy-to-grow succulent with rows of fleshy, tear-drop shaped, blue-green leaves. Each succulent is fully rooted in 4 inch starter planter with succulent & cacti soil mix. They are larger, better established and much more resilient than less-established succulents. The plant container and soil are included Easy to Care - As one of the most popular trailing succulents, Sedum burro's tail can be planted indoor or outdoor. It prefers bright and enough sunlight and protection from frost. It does not bloom dependably. In spring, purplish-pink to red-purple flowers may appear in pendant clusters at the ends of the stems, which is very attractive Sedum morganianum, also known as the donkey tail or a sedum burrito is one of the most popular trailing succulents. This soft succulent can grow stems over 12 inches covered with small, bead like light green leaves. This sedum originates in Veracruz Mexico and has several similar hybrid species. Fertilize in spring and summer months, avoid extreme temperatures and water sparingly. This trailing succulent will do well indoors or outdoors in bright light. When this plant is not getting enough light it will let you know by stretching. When spaces become noticeable between the round leaves your plant is not getting enough light. Gorgeous pink flowers emerge at the end of the plant stems in springtime however every plant is not guaranteed to bloom. Older, more mature plants tend to bloom compared to newly rooted plants. This delicate succulent is easy to propagate from cuttings or by leaf. This is a slow growing succulent and it can be easily overwatered. As with most succulents, water only when the soil is dry.

This plant is beautiful. It was received undamaged and very healthy. Incredible packaging. It was wrapped and the stuffing filled up the box so the plant wasn’t knocking around during shipping. Very well protected. There was additional protection which was shredded cardboard all round the plant. Paper was added to the top of the plant to fill any gaps between the plant and the box. This plant was packaged like a piece of expensive crystal. Packing slip included. None of the other plants purchased from other sellers were packaged anywhere close to the way this succulent was packaged. The plant is perfect and very healthy. I want to buy two more but only from this seller. Absolutely terrific seller and highly recommended. Also, as soon as I opened the box, there was an insert indicating the plant was thirsty and needed water! 🤣ðŸ‘. Loved the note. Only this seller went to the trouble to communicate this way. Very intelligent, organized, perfect seller of this cactus. Highly recommended. Awesome! Thank you.

Hats off to Fat Plants San Diego. I ordered 2 Bear Paw plants from this company. When I opened the boxes, I was kind of shocked that there was no dirt all over the plants and in the boxes. These plants were packed so good that I just stood there in awe of the way the plants were packed. As I slowly removed the packing, I was completely STUNNED at the condition of these Bear Paw Plants. No dirt all over them, no broken leaves, not one blemish on any of the leaves and the size and fullness of the plants are impressive!!! The color of both vibrant, and since I am a very visual person to the point of being one step away from having OCD, both plants have the same fullness, rhe same moistness, the same height, the same coloring and the overall 2 plants, the same shape. NEVER, EVER, have I received plants in the mail in EXCELLENT condition. Fat Plants San Diego has demonstrated to me that they care about their plants and they take extra care in the condition of the plant, the picking and packing before they mail that plant out to a customer. Thank You Fat Plants San Diego, and I will definitely be ordering from your establishment again.The 2 Ripple Jade plants I ordered were just as excellent. Perfect in every way.

My goodness the plant is gorgeous it arrived on juicy yet with the other ones that had to sit at the post office until I got back from vacation. But they were so beautiful so green and so alive it was worth every penny I spent with it and so far even in my cold weather atmosphere with only the heat being so much it's still alive. So yeah go for it if you want one.

The plant came healthy despite that fact that there was a huge freeze after I ordered. I was very worried it would show up dead, but it didn’t. There were multiple plants in the pot so I divided them up and have some at home and some in the office. Exactly as I would have hoped. I’d buy them again and would trust anything from this seller to show up in good condition.

My beautiful plants arrived with Spanish moss cushioning them, then biodegradable shredded paper protected each plant and they were wrapped within their own container in the larger snug box. I waited a while removing the plants to help alleviate any shock. The plants are in good soil so no repotting, no problems. They’re doing great and look better than the photos!Thank you FAT PLANTS and your people who obviously do a tremendous job ðŸ™ðŸ¼â¤ï¸ðŸ”†

I’ve ordered numerous succulents from Fat Plants over the course of the last several years with this one being one of my most recent. I’ve had them delivered to both Colorado and Maine. They always arrived incredibly well packed, first with Spanish moss around the plant, then with paper type confetti all wrapped within paper and then stored within a box that is placed within the shipping box. The succulent NEVER arrives dried out or damaged. I made the mistake of ordering the same succulent from a different company and the ‘leaves’ all fell off the day after repotting it. I’ve never had that problem with Fat Plants. Their plants are very hardy and so colorful. I never feel compelled to write reviews, but absolutely had to about this company. I can’t possibly recommend them enough. They consistently send the healthiest, most beautiful, and well packed succulents.
