I could honestly rave about this hat for ages. If you're looking for a quality Panama Hat, look no further!My dad and I are big fans of Panama Hats, but over the last few years we've noticed a definite decline in quality. Either the band would only be secured with the barest amount of adhesive, the weave would be loose and/or start to come apart, or the hat would be light and flimsy. NOT THIS HAT!!First of all, it was well packaged in a box not only large enough to not bend the brim or top out of shape, but there was a hard plastic shell that had all the same contours in the hat to prevent any possible misshaping in transit. It has a good weight (comfortably light but heavy enough that I didn't think a stiff breeze would take it away) and detachable wind straps, as well as an adjustable strap on the inside so I could tighten it for my size, and my dad could "borrow" it and readjust it for his head in about 2 seconds. We were swapping the hat back and forth on a sunny but windy day; my dad's own hat had unfortunately been blown off into a duck pond by a moderate gust (a cheap hat he found at a local store to replace another cheap hat.) The same gust of wind pulled at my hat, but it didn't take it away! Even more importantly, though, is the weave was tight enough no sun was able to get through and burn my dad's balding head, but also breathable so I didn't overheat. It's wonderfully done! I was expecting loose bits or at least for the weave to be somewhat rough, but it was smooth and not a straw out of place! I was a bit worried that there wouldn't be much air flow and I'd get too hot, but it wasn't an issue. Even with the hat being black! The crown is solid, and the wide brim was flexible enough to make it comfortable to wear while leaning back in a chair. And fall asleep (my dad, again; I'll be getting him his OWN very soon so I can enjoy MINE!)Five Stars all the way!

I love the quality and style of this hat. It is super cute, and I love that this hat comes in different colors with various accessory belts. I ordered the tan with the single brown belt. I received my hat right on time which is always amazing. I have messed around with the brim and 'head' portion (for lack of a better word) and found it is durable. Though I haven't had it for very long I can tell this hat can with stand working in my yard and garden for a long time.Another cool feature I found was in the inside back of the hat there is an adjuster for those with smaller heads. My head circumference being bigger than normal, I've always had this problem with hats, I won't need to use the adjuster, and I kind of wish the hat was a little bit bigger to have a perfectly comfy fit. Again I can't fault the hat for this because I've always had trouble fitting into hats since I was a newborn. lolThe next thing I want to mention is the chin strap. It was a bit of a struggle to get on as the little elastic piece was short and tucked into the fabric under the brim of the hat. I have added a picture to show what I mean. It wasn't impossible to get the hook into the elastic but it took some struggling for the first couple mins. My advise is to pull the elastic out and hook it that way. That was truly the only thing I found could be improved on this hat.

I like the way it fits on my head. However, I found a little bit heavier than most other straw hats that I own. I get lots of compliments when I wear it, but I can’t wear it very long because of its happiness. I would, however it recommend it because it looks so good.

Just received mine today. At first look, this hat is great, especially for the price. I wanted a white hat to replace my more expensive ones until I had time to really shop, so I took the chance and hoped this one would be fun, if not very dressy. It arrived in a sturdy box, totally wrapped in clear paper as well as having a clear hat form inside to keep it safe. Not a wrinkle or blemish. It's also fairly heavy for a Spring/Summer hat, but flexible. Certainly worth the $15 price tag. The sizing ribbon is inside so you can adjust the fit. I'm pleasantly surprised and if it wears as well as it looks, I'll purchase in other colors!

I wear it on the farm everyday. I wear it in wind, rain, whatever. It's comfortable. It holds its shape well. Cold or hot weather it performs well. It was packaged well upon arrival. I like it so much I bought another for backup.

they look great. I take these kayaking in swampy areas, and they don’t mind getting wet, but sometimes it gets stained. So at this low price I can afford to go through one or two per season, then the old ones get saved for yardwork

It arrived well-packed with a form to keep it in shape during shipping that can be reused when storing at home. It is finely-woven for a sophisticated style. The strands are more widely-woven at the edges, which gives it a good, subtle border. The buckle is a nice, complementing feature—not too gaudy or showy. I would prefer the removable chin strap matched the hat or buckle instead of being black, but I like that it’s there (gets windy here). Sweatband at inside base matches hat perfectly. The hat has weight to it but isn’t heavy, and definitely not flimsy. Brim is good size (not too small to lose function, not too big to be in the way or get caught too easily by a slight breeze). Good product shipped with care.

Un buen sombrero para uso rudo. Hace bien su función y está bonito. Puedes doblarlo para guardarlo y se recupera bien. El único tema es que está hecho de plástico y te hace sudar.
