I have had many cheap greae guns over the years, and they always frustrated me by leaking and popping off the zerk fitting while pumping the gun. I finally got tired of the messes and looked for a quality gun than works. Enter the Lube and Lock lever action grease gun. Heavy duty and well made, the head locks on to the zerk fitting allowing the operator to have both hands free to pump the grease. No more pop-offs that always make for a greasy mess. Pumps to 10,000 psi for those stubborn fittings that don't want to take grease easily. That is much higher pressure than any hand pump gun. I use it on my RAM, my Kioti tractor and front end loader, as well as my John Deere lawn tractor/mower deck. It is a great quality grease gun, and it works perfectly every time. Nice long high-quality hose. Super secure locking head. The gun should come with a rebuild kit if that is ever necessary. Mine was delivered without the rebuild kit so I emailed them, and they immediately responded by sending the kit to me. Quality gun and quality customer service. What more can a customer ask for.

This is a premium grease gun that is well built and worth every penny! I bought one of the lock-n-lube tips first for an older gun. It works so good that when I needed to get another gun to carry on the road in my RV I decided to buy this set. It is fantastic! I really like the way the tip locks onto the gun for storage / carrying. The lock-n-lube tip locks and seals onto the zerk so well that you can use both hands to pump instead of trying to hold the tip on the zerk with one hand and pump with one hand. Both the lock-n-lube gun and the tip are great products!

Both guns work great but the pistol grip is more convenient and the handle will give more pressure if you have the room... no leakage on either connections once seated. Great product ðŸ‘

The main feature of this grease gun is that the tip is able to lock onto a grease fitting. This feature worked flawlessly when I was able to fully engage each grease fitting. The grease did not spurt out due to a bad connection. The little lever on the tip is first depressed thereby opening up the jaws of the hose tip. Next the little lever is released as soon as the grease fitting jaws are engaged to the grease fitting. The jaws work well like a pit bull on a deflated basketball. The pumping mechanism was flawless in the amount of grease delivered and the ease of the handle pumping action. The fact that the tip locks onto each grease fitting means that the hand a person normally uses to hold the tip of a grease gun during the pumping action is freed up to be useful elsewhere. Just depress the little lever again to unlock the jaws and remove the grease gun. The only reason I did not give this grease gun a 5 is that the tip, which has the little lever, will not fit in as many places as a grease gun that has a straight tip with no lever. Simply put, the lever that operates the grab jaws takes up a little bit of space. However, there are ways to work around the occasional grease fitting not able to be serviced. For instance, on my lawn tractor a particular fitting was playing hard to get. My remedy was to buy a 90 degree fitting which worked well with the LockNLube grease gun. The grease gun itself was of high quality. The place to hook the jaws for storage allows the hose to form a loop which is nice for carrying--or hanging on a nail. The storage connection also seems to stop any unwanted grease flow. I recommend this grease gun with the slight caution that special hardware may be needed to get onto an estimated 5 percent of grease fittings onto which this grease gun will not lock properly. Very affordable yet great quality.

I maintain my tractor and all mechanical equipment religiously. I need tools that will not fail and ready at a moments notice. The long lever action, quick air release priming button, quick fitting lock attachment and the quality is excellent. A farmer must have invented this product due to ease of use and durability. Highly recommend this tool over air assisted and battery operated. I owned both and they don't even compare.

So glad I got this for my 2013 Tacoma Drive Shaft Greasing Job. Worked incredibly well, and I love being able to attach a needle fitting without removing the locking fitting. Super nice, no leaks, easy to set up. Get it.

For 11 years, I have been greasing my tractor with a crummy grease gun for which I paid about $18. After marginal performance for years, it finally gave out last week. I ordered the LokNLube and just used it for the first time this afternoon. What a joy! The coupling tightly grip the grease fittings, and grease goes into joints rather than oozing around. With just one or two pumps, I saw fresh grease coming out of the joints. My old gun took 10 or 12 pumps to do this (while it worked). This tool is quite a bit more expensive than the many cheap grease guns on Amazon, but it is much more sturdily built and has a quality feel. (Owning cheap tools guarantees frustration, and what should be a 5 minutes job can turn into an hour as you fight with a piece of junk.)So happy I bought the LockNLube - I never owned a good grease gun before, and I no longer need to dread greasing my tractor. I am as happy as a kid with a new toy!

This is probably a very good grease gun but for use in Australia it does not take the commonly available 450G cartridges. It is made for 400G cartridges which are used in the US. There is limited availability of the 400G cartridges here but they are very scarce and lack a range of grease types. I would have returned it but the cost of freight even with the small rebate made it not worthwhile. I did use the swivel hose and coupling it comes with on another high quality grease gun I bought locally and they are very good.

Good product except no LockNlube rebuild kit is included, so only a 4 out of 5. I guess we’re expected to order that separately.

I had to send this back because of the defective part. The grease didn't get pushed to the top and I couldn'tprimed the gun. I also opted for the pistol grip version of the same make. I have to commend amazon for the no hassle return in this case. It was only a minor nuisance of waiting 1 week for the replacement.

The box was previously opened and resealed before it arrived to me. See pic. Product was missing one of the parts it’s as supposed to have…a free rebuild kit. Sent the product back for full refund.. I have since researched, found and purchased a better product from a competitor. Will not be looking at this product or company for any products, going forward. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
