Click, wham , starts right up, mine had been like; click, nothing , click rough start,and eventually click , nothing.....nothing... nothing, just clicks.The click and no start doesn't always mean you have a bad solenoid, butoften it does. The contacts can migrate away from the contact points,or break inside, so it still clicks but you get no actual contact.Don't let your starter ever go rou rou rou rou rou rou.... you know turnover slowly when you have a low batter, for very long, it will kill the starter windings,due to excessive heat (huge amp draw, under low volage condition).My oem solenoid lasted about 15 months , and I usually used the kickstarter instead of the elect starter.

The product is what it is for the price, Starter Solenoid Relay failed and remained open. Almost lost my brand new starter, use a volt meter to test if it remains open prior to install. Unfortunately I cannot return it as I started the project a few weeks after purchasing.

Functions how it should,Only complaint is the rubber mount for it,Keeps on falling out and hanging by the wires so had to zip tie it in.For the price its great though
