After reading some reviews I settled for these thinking they would be cheap disposable brushes that wouldn’t hurt throwing away a few for a project.. Was I wrong.. These are really good brushes and lasted WAY longer than I expected.. Normally I’ll use a couple of the brushes sold at Michaels for a project.. One of these lasted me 2 projects.. They don’t leave foam behind when using Mod Podge amd they work great for paste varnishes

I have been teaching myself how to work with copper sheets and blanks, doing stamping and embossing and texturizing with hammers and things like that. Along with these textures, I've been working with patinas, paints, sealants, and the like to really make the patterns stand out. I bought these as a way to apply colors to the copper. I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg and I saw these for under five bucks so I purchased them. What I like about these:(1) They're basically disposable. I do try to clean them, but if there is any doubt that a product I have used with one of these is not coming out or has damaged the sponge, I just toss it (without feeling guilty).(2) I have found that the sponge parts stay on the sticks pretty well. I can't say if that's true after 20 uses (I'm rotating through the ones I bought rather than using the same one over and over again) but it is true after say, 3 or 4 uses.(3) I like the effects I get with metal paints. I had seen a piece of jewelry online I was trying to make something similar to. It was embossed copper and it had three different colors, but they kind of overlapped or bled into each other in a lovely way. I didn't see that working with regular paint brushes where you get a solid line. But with these sponges, you can kind of dab on color, let it dry, dab on a bit more, etc., and end up with a lovely multicolored piece with more diffuse edges between the colors instead of stark lines. (By waiting for the color to dry between applications, you avoid doing things like mixing red and green paint while they're wet, which would not turn out looking very nice.) You can even cut bits off the sponge to give it a different shape if that is something you are looking for.So anyway, these worked great for my intended use for them. I occasionally grab one for other reasons, like fixing small areas of stain on self-assembled bookshelves, so it is nice that you get 25 in a package -- you can dedicate them to many purposes around the house. I know my primary use is kind of specific and unusual, but these are versatile. Anywhere you think you can use a little foam brush, these will probably work.

Great quality foam brushes, I use them when I'm painting and for arts and crafts. For the price point they are ideal because I throw the, away after. I have had other brushes where the foam comes off the wood, of the wood is terrible quality, however here that is not the case. When I received them I was a bit surprised by the quality of the wood on these brushes since I often use them in a disposable manner. However, if you want to wash and reuse due to the quality of these brushes I think it is possible.Worth the price, and you receive 25 foam brushes for this price.m

I have been building "Heirloom Quality" custom woodwork for 30+ years and have use almost every type of stain that one could imagine- ammonia fumes, berry tints and most modern oil and water based stains - now I am giving alcohol/water dyes a try, something new to me, but it would be very helpful in working with some species of wood that doesn't take stain well- the first thing that crossed my thoughts was how to apply such a coloring - These foam brushes work very well and are very cost efficient, if anyone is working with a similar tint/coloring medium as dye , these are they way to go- at a very good price for the quantity and quick shipping

These were such a good recommendation by someone on one of the Instant Pot boards. They fit in all the nooks and crannies where they are needed to wipe up a drip or spill with no effort at all. Easy to rinse off and reuse. I find myself using them for many other purposes around the kitchen and house. They are now a "must have" in my kitchen.

These are fantastic for when you are doing small craft projects that don't require very expensive brushes or materials. This is a great price for 25 brushes! You don't have to reuse these, but I find they are easy to reuse if you wash them properly. So far, I've used these with mod podge glue, and acrylic paints of many different colors. I love the long handle for easy handling and they do not easily rip off of the handle. They stay very put even after several uses. I have more than enough for many craft projects to come and I will not need to buy any more any time soon except if it's as a gift for a friend. Overall, I love this product and it's a great bargain! I give this 5 out of 5 stars.

I have used almost the entire pack of these on various projects as I fix up my home. I love the control, and sometimes you just don't want to deal with cleaning a brush. The handle is thick and solid and I've put a bunch of these through merciless jobs painting really rough outdoor surfaces and they STILL did the job. I love these brushes and have just reordered

These work just as well as any other foam brushes that you use once and discard. They have a plastic insert that looks like a paddle between the handle and the foam portion, which prevents the foam from turning or coming off. It also helps distribute paint/stain/etc more evenly on application and minimize drips if you accidentally press on the brush a little too hard. They are also a way better deal price-wise than big box stores.
