Before purchasing this, I would cover my splitter with a tarp weighed down with some logs. That was easy and inexpensive, but in winter weather the tarp would often freeze to the ground... meaning I couldn't uncover and use my splitter. Not good!The straps and pull-cord on this help to adequately cover my 27-ton splitter, but keep the cover off of the ground. There's enough cover there that it could easily go all the way down to the ground if I wanted it to, but it can easily be secured up off the ground. I just tucked the sides between the wheels and the wheel covers to help keep things off the ground.I've only had it on for a few days, but it was very quick and easy to put on and it seems like it will be very durable.

Fits my Dewalt splitter well. The material seems waterproof and sturdy. Straps keep it on in a wind.

The strap on the front broke on first use. Otherwise a great product with very thick canvas proportioned well and thought out.

I usually cover my splitter with a tarp . What a game changer ! Should have bought this cover when I bought the splitter . No fighting to get the tarp to cover the splitter . Simply slip it on , tighten up the draw string and snap the strap on . Done! Perfect fit , very well made and no need for extra tie downs or ropes . Great cover!

This cover fits my DR 500 Hydraulic wood splitter . It’s bigger than the splitter by has cords to tighten. It’s really heavy duty and the seams are solid. Good cover for the price. I recommend.

Great heavy duty materials, fits excellent, but front strap was hanging in by a literal thread.
