A little pricey but excellent quality. Good, easy to follow instructions, be sure to take the time to read them so your inner and or outer cables won't unravel. Best advice I could give is to cut the inner cable with aviation sheers, (tin snips). I used the yellow handled one for straight cuts, comes out real clean and inserts into carb end fitting without a problem. Plenty of adjustment, I followed the instructions presetting the components and no adjustment was necessary, plus, the operation is real smooth, no snags.

Used this to make a throttle cable for my carburetors. The cable is very high quality and the endlinks are very strong and durable. It is pricier than other cables I've seen, but the throttle is a part I don't want to fail on me while on the road.

Installed cable on 78 GMC pickup. Found large flange washers and 1 1/4" rubber gaskets at local hardware store for firewall mounting. Cut the cable with dikes without taping it and it sprung apart like a blooming flower. Had to replace the inner cable and try again. Worked on the second try. Mine has a heavy couple of bends due to vacuum cruise control unit being in the way. Seems smooth (I shot some lithium grease into the cable after install). Works great with the Lokar aluminum throttle bracket.

I originally tried a low-cost throttle cable, but it binded and was unreliable. Wish I had purchased this first. Great difference in quality. Would buy again.

The original throttle cable on my 1972 Chevy truck broke, so I bought an aftermarket replacement. That new part was so cheaply made that it literally broke apart when I tried to install it. So then I bought this Lokar unit, and I am beyond happy with it! Easy to modify and install in any vehicle. Quality is superb! It has a plastic liner inside just like the original GM part did (The aftermarket part was just the cable inside a steel coil). I am keeping my truck stock/original and this part looks great under the hood.
