Butter soft, great quality great fit, got SEVEN additional pairs for friends as gifts and they love them as much as i do....Sting proof!! Medium fit my girlfriends and large fit my guy friends. I had to get XS for myself as i'm about 5' tall and have small hands. The small was too big for me. They go well up my upper arm not quite to shoulder, but on a 'regular' size person they go up well past your elbow. This feature provides excellent protection from thorns and sharp sticks for yard work, gardening or any outside jobs tough on your hands. One of my girlfriends is using them while leash training her new shepherd for hand protection from him tugging her. Also, they are really warm and would serve well as winter and/or driving gloves. Great product, great price.

Update: This wonderful company sent me a larger pair promptly. They are perfect, and work well with my cactus transplanting. (My new, perfectly fitting glove is holding the pot rim.) While I did the first transplant using newspaper (messy, yet safe), once I watered the perlite soil (if new to perlite, please first read instructions, friends), you can see what happened. The larger gloves had arrived by the time I needed to re-pot the cactus pups, with far less perlite LOL. Do spines enter the gloves? Well, yes, although not like they would in another pair of gloves. I just have to be cautious, and I think one entered the morning I worked with them--but not deeply enough to touch my skin.(original review) Quality gloves, yet ran small for meI measured both hands as directed, and my hands fit well within the size small, based on those measurements. My palms were 3-1/2â€, and middle fingers were 3-1/4â€. I’m 5’9â€, so I didn’t really care about the length or check it. The gloves that arrived are too small, though. They don’t reach my finger webbing, and I can’t make a fist without feeling that they’re too tight (both hands). In other words, they are uncomfortable, and I would not want to work with them in my garden. They seem durable and versatile, especially for any kind of thorns or spikes.I was looking for gloves to help with transplanting an overgrown cactus pup, with new pups (all with scary spikes!), a gift from a young grandson years ago. When its flower died before blooming, I figured it was time to repot.I ordered a medium in the gloves today, to see if that will help. I’ll return the small gloves, if the medium gloves fit. In the meantime, searching online for how to transplant a cactus, using thick rubber kitchen gloves and newspaper worked fine. Still, I like pretty and purposeful gloves.

Pruning roses and transplanting prickly pear cactus, no problem! Turning compost and planting early garden, easy peasy! Digging a trench for sprinkler repair, no blisters! Great gloves, feel good and fit a woman’s hands just right. Pretty pink color too

These gloves fit me very well and we’re pretty sturdy. They prevented most of the punctures from the Horn of the rosebush, but not all of them. It was good that the gloves went up my arms and help. Keep my arm safe as well. The color was Fine and the material inside of the gloves was soft and felt good. The gloves are durable and flexible for handling roses or other bushes that are thorny.

These gloves were inexpensive so I wasn't sure that I would like the quality. I was pleasantly surprised. They fit snuggly which is good for a gardening glove and the quality is much better than expected. My husband and I trimmed all five tall rose bushes and neither one of us bled one drop!

great protection! Very soft. I bought size XS and my glove size is 6 1/2 when i buy normal gloves, they fit well.now it takes me 30 min. to prune all my roses versus 1 1/2 hours, when I had to be so careful not to my skin rippedgreat purchase !!!

We have a lemon tree that has lots of thorns. These gloves protected my hands and arms perfectly last time I picked the lemons. I love these gloves. Well made and work well.

I bought these gloves to remove a very large buckthorn. They were amazing and I got no stabs or prickles from the thorns. They are very comfortable and high quality. They will be very useful for so many projects. I am very happy I bought them.
