Excellent candles for everyday/emergency use. Very good wick to wax ratio. Steady flame, non smoking. They do drip, as would be expected, so use a wax shield for your candlesticks. Will order again.

These candles were just what I needed in case of a power outage. They are a nice size and length. The price was very reasonable. I’m thinking about ordering another box because we experience a lot of power outages around this time of year and you can never have to many candles.

These candles are very good quality, you can tell by the wicks, nice thick braided wick. Im using them for crafts and they are awesome.

Getting the box of candles gave me a feeling of relief, that I have some way to keep some light on in case the power goes out. It was nice to see all 48 candles tucked away in the box just as described. Unfortunately, the was some damage to the box during shipping, so I had to be careful handling it, so all the candles wouldn't come unpacked and start coming out of the side of the split box. One candle did come out partially when trying to remove the damaged candle box out of the larger shipping box, which had multiple items in it. That one candle did crack at about mid point, but I was able to get it back into the candle box to it's original place of the 48 candles. I have not lit any of the candles yet, so this is part of the reason for only four stars; the unknown, but I'm very happy to have them for when they may be needed. They appear to be just what I ordered, and look like your basic candle, so I expect them to burn just fine and do as expected.

These are a fine size to make the soy shortening or crisco shortening fueled long burn candles.Lots of tutorials on line for crisco candles. I reuse coffee or soup cans or short large tin cans. Be Creative!Long burning light and heat in an emergency... Be ready... Make Many...AS ALWAYS; TRIM WICKS TO ONE QUARTER OF AN INCH OR AROUND 6MM FOR BEST BURN...

I love knowing we are prepared. I keep an old sauce jar with a candle and a pack of matches on every window sill. No more scurrying around when the power is out. I have even made some up for family and friends. Every thinks I’m goofy UNTIL they have a use for their’s. I hope I never use mine but am so glad I have them. These are a great value in my opinion.

These candles appear to be a good size, however they don’t even last one meal.I will not buy these again ever!Poor value.
